So I watched the action/comedy flick, Hooper,a couple of days ago.For those of you who forgot,Burt Reynolds plays a Hollywood stuntman who wants to make one last car jump in a rocket powered car before he retires. It’s a good movie,if you like Burt Reynolds.???

Thank you (Steve)Rodent for clearing that up for Pete.Lol,No I’m just joking. And yes,Mel Brooks films were great.IMO his best film was “High Anxiety”.Anyway, let’s get back on the subject.Great video, just wish there was more carnage.

Yea that is true.Hey you know what they say, sex,DRUGS & rock and roll,Lol.I just can’t believe he’s 74 years old.But then again,Steven Tyler, and Alice Cooper are also 74.While Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are both 79.Dam again, where the hell has time gone?Sheesh?♂️

Well, without going into details, cause you can Google all that, but in case you haven’t heard,Ozzy has stated he can no longer tour and is officially retiring due to suffering from the awful illness of “Parkinson’s disease”..I never did see him play live, but I have been a big fan of Black Sabbath and Ozzy ever since I first heard Paranoid(1970).Best wishes to the Prince of Darkness.?

Oh thank you again.I really appreciate it.?Just have to find some more time to work on the dios.

Oh here’s one for the books.Just saw this story to make you laugh.A 1979 Trans Am with only 37 miles on it sold for $220,000 at Barrett.I mean yea that’s incredibly low miles, but come on $220,000?.Idk I must of missed that one. -

Wow look at that hair on those girls in the year book pics.?.Good Lord,I can’t believe they walked around like that.Hair spray, and more hair spray, and even more hair spray.

Yea your right.Like I said, there were so many HIGH priced $$ Broncos,Blazers, and Corvette resto mods,I could throw up?.And as someone said, all the Eleanor Mustangs too.? -
Wow that’s amazing, that was just last week.I mean she looks great. That really sucks that she died so suddenly.I picked up these A/G movie posters at a swap meet over the summer.

Yea i saw that. Not a big fan of the Allante, but there were a lot of nice cars that were sold yesterday.I’m not really sure why yesterdays final day of the auction, was not televised.Instead, you could only see the coverage via Live stream on line..I might try to get down to Florida in April for the next auction in Palm Beach.Who knows maybe I can find a nice ride that won’t break the bank.$$.?♂️ -
Yea just saw that on line.Sad that she passed away. She was hilarious on Laverne And Shirley. As well as starring in American Graffiti, and the sequel,More American Graffiti.RIP?.

Yup,IMO,Rick Dobbertin is the father of Pro street. He built a very nice 65 Nova along with others. But I believe it was Scott Sullivan that built what many considered the first “pro street” car,a 66,or 67 Nova, can’t recall, way back all the way in 1979,where it is was featured in Hot Rod,i believe,& Car Craft.

Well I have to say that I totally agree with what some of you guys are saying. There definitely were way too many resto-mod Corvettes, pick up trucks,Broncos,Blazers, and very high dollar exotics at the auction.I mean I couldn’t believe how many Broncos, Blazers, and pick ups there were at the auction..And yes, there were way way too many commercials,or cut aways to one of the commentators looking, and talking about some car in the staging lanes. That was quite irritating..But again,as I said,I really tried not to pay too much attention to the prices of the cars. And just tried to enjoy seeing the different cars coming across the block.I just wish there were more of the number matching American Muscle cars. The Boss 429s,Superbirds,the Road Runners,Chevelles,Hemis,etc..And your right Mike,I couldn’t agree with you more, the girls writing the sold price decals on the cars, was actually one of my favorite parts of the auction.Very easy on the eyes.??.Oh and this was the highest priced car at the auction. An 89 Ferrari F40,which sold for about $2.5 million.I just don’t understand what was up with the color of the car.? -
No I’m just joking.Duel was a great movie, and the ending was well executed. No explosion was necessary.

Welp the long week auction is now in the history books.Just incredible cars to see and drool over. The highest paid car was an 89 Ferrari F40,which sold for $2.5 million. It was tuned to over 1,000 Hp.Except that it was painted,or wrapped in some really ugly gray color. But as I said,it was a really good auction. -
Wait, are you serious?Spielberg thought that a huge explosion would be too cliche?Mr.Stephen Spielberg actually said that?Mr.special FX,explosion man, himself said that? That is really funny.?

Thank you very much.
