Oh man that’s great.Yea Steve is definitely a real true car guy.My absolute best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.I was really hoping to meet him one day at a Barrett auction.Hope I can still do that one day soon.

It’s funny,whenever I watch Barrett Jackson auctions,Steve often mentions something about building car models,wether it was a Johan,Revell,Monogram,or an AMT kit,he just gets so excited about our great hobby.And is quite a talented builder.Again,best wishes to him,and hopefully he’ll make a full recovery.

From what I read,he has a brain infection,(encephalitis) and cannot speak at the moment..And yea,I almost forgot that he is a huge Mopar nut.That’s just one more reason why I like the guy.And his model show was great too..Plus if you haven’t read his books,do yourself a favor,and pick up a copy..Makes for great bathroom reading?: )

Oh man,this news really sucks..I consider myself a HUGE fan of Steve Magnante..Both from watching Barrett Jackson,to his book,and his You tube videos.I always find myself mesmerized by his incredible knowledge of all things automotive.He is definitely in my prayers.And I just hope he can recover fully from this serious illness.☹️

So I found out on FB today,that Joe,and Amanda Martin from MotorTrends “Iron Resurrection” show,are going to be appearing at a local car show here on Long Island.I will definitely be attending that show.Hopefully I’ll be able to get their autographs,or maybe a quick selfie with them.And it’s always nice checking out Amanda too.But seriously,Joe Martin to me,is like an automotive genius.And they’re bringing out their newest Riviera project..

Oh hell no,those spiders would be gone real quick if they came anywhere near my house.Anybody got a flame thrower?Sniff,sniff,aww too bad,barbecue spider.Mmm,yummy.?How about this big guy right here,The Goliath bird-eating spider.Good thing is,that this HUGE,& freaky spider is mainly found in S.America,and some parts of Africa.?

Hey Tom Geiger,I tried to send you a private message,but for some reason I couldn’t do it.Well,I noticed you replied to my post about the LIARS show,(Swap meet),and contest that’s coming up on Nov.11th.Are you planning on attending the show?So happy that they were able hold it this year finally.Since Covid caused the last three or four shows to be cancelled.Anyway,if you are attending this year,I hope you enjoy the show..Like I said,it’s the only show/contest held on LI @ the Freeport rec.center??

Well first let me just say Happy BD..?Bottoms up.I unfortunately stopped celebrating my birthday when I turned 40.??And now i’am in my mid 50s.Yea so i don’t remind any of my friends,or family that it’s my birthday.Well like I said,I hope you enjoyed yours.

So it’s the 15th of August,4:30 am,and insomnia has got me again tonight,Lol…???‍??Anyway,I’am currently working on a closed down,and abandoned HO scale KFC restaurant..I boarded up the windows,and weathered it with graffiti,overgrown trees,grass,and shrubs,etc.And it’s ready to be torn down.I obviously used this kit for the dio.It’s almost done.

Ah,finally,I got the news that the only local model car show on Long Island,which is put on by a great local club,the LIARS,(Long Island Auto Replica Society)club is back on..They were given the green light to be able to put on their huge contest/swap meet,which is normally held in November.The hall where the show is held,had to stop the show due to Covid.But they’re coming back after like 4,or 5 years of having to cancel the show.?

Oh yea,no problem,but yea,like i said,it really does look great.Um,this might be just a stab in the dark,but do u have any built/or partially built pro mod builds that you might be willing sell?I just had to ask.Lol.You can PM me,or whatever. Thanks.

Oh man i found an 86 Suzuki RM 250 on line.It was my first dirt bike growing up.Greatest dirt bike i have ever ridden.250 two strokes scream..Only problem is,I’m on Long Island,and the bike is in Maine.?That figures,of course.This bike would be great for my son,and myself.?

Oh yea,I completely forgot that he was in The Blues Brothers.?.And of course,we can’t forget about him getting busted at an adult movie theater..Enough said.?

Yea i just heard.Ah man that sucks.He was pretty funny in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.Loved the scene when he came across the biker gang,The Satans Helpers.”Shhhh,I’m trying to use the phone.”Then he walks out and accidentally knocks over their bikes.RIP
