  1. Great job.Bob Glidden was definitely my favorite all time drag racer.RIP.
  2. Took this from. Google ..“Famed drag racing chassis builder Melvin “Jerry” Bickel passed away on Wednesday at the age of 75. Bickel, a name as synonymous with the upper echelons of the sport as any other, was one of the revolutionizing forces behind the growth of fast doorslammer drag racing, producing innumerable wins, championships, and world records around the globe, in everything from Pro Stock and Pro Modified, to Top Sportsman, Street Outlaws No Prep Kings, drag radial competition, grudge/no-time, and beyond.”RIP.Actually sorry, maybe I should’ve posted this in the drag racing,or The Off Topic forum.
  3. So I saw this car on Google..I cut and pasted the narrative from Google. But like i said, this is one wild ride.I’m sure many of you have seen this car before. “Narrative: Let's take a trip back in time. In 1970, the Mopar winged aero-cars were kicking ass in NASCAR, so Chrysler funded testing of the new 1971 designs at Wichita State University's wind tunnel. The team used ⅜-scale models of Chargers and Road Runners and fitted them with an array of wings, nose cones, and other aero bits. Sadly, it all became a wasted effort when NASCAR banned the winged cars from competition. The 406-page report titled "Results of the Wind Tunnel Tests of the 'G' Series Dodge and Plymouth B-Bodies for the Development of Grand National Race Cars" (whew, that's a mouthful!) was relegated to the dustbin of history, and we were never treated to the 1971 wing cars that could have been”.

  4. Looks really good. It’s tough to match up the chassi/cage,with the body. But like i said,I really like yours.I like all your builds. They’re right up my alley.?
  5. Added some more work on some dioramas. There mixed up now,but i’ll make them better once i have the space.Sorry too many pictures.Sorry i might have posted some of these pics already.
  6. The third show is already coming next Sunday. There was a show this past weekend, but i just didn’t feel like going. The next one is the best. The show is held a a park like setting on the grass. And it is a huge turn out, cars, and vendors. And now tomorrow, one of the big cruise nights start. The show usually brings in close to 500 hundred+cars at times.
  7. Some pics from this past Sundays show.First show of the season.Great weather,& the place was packed.
  8. Thank you very much.Yea it’s a good car,fast,& cruises like a Caddy.
  9. Your welcome, glad you guys enjoyed the pictures. And yea the Marauder was really nice with the black wheels, etc.Always liked the Marauders.Wanted to buy one,but they were just a bit out of my price range for a really nice one.So I said, what the hell, buy a P 71,unmarked black Crown Vic.So I picked up an 09 CV,did some tuning,Flowmaster exhaust, and she moves.
  10. You’ve got a very good point there Espo.Something also to think about some more.
  11. Yea that is true.Their truck division, etc will keep their heads above water..
  12. Saw this 76 Montego, the other day.Yea it’s got too many doors.?‍♂️.Needs paint, but it’s still pretty cool.Just imagine when cars like this and bigger, were cruising all over the place in the 70s.
  13. I Said it before,& i’ll say it again,Steve Magnante,is sort of an idol of mine. His knowledge of anything car wise, just blows me away. From his coverage on Barrett Jackson,to his Junk yard Gold program. The guy is a walking auto encyclopedia. And his models are great. What’s the deal with his model car show/video.It lasted a few weeks, then they were gone.Anyway,i’d love to meet the guy,and pick his brain for information.
  14. That thing is awful looking, from the tires to the roof.Yea I wondered how Chrysler was able to get away with using the name Hornet, but then again,as you pointed out.and I forgot,Chrysler ate up AMC,years ago…But come on boys go back to the drawing board on this giant POS.??.Mopar is going to go straight down the garbage chute once they finish with the Challenger, and Charger.Too bad Lee Iacocca isn’t still around.Cause if Chrysler does start to churn out garbage such as this (Hornet),something tells me their gonna need another bail out.Just saying,IMO..
  15. This is just the top 4.I had to include four, cause # four is my all-time favorite racer. The list is # 4.Bob Glidden.#3 Don Prudhomme,#2.is Don Garlits, and #1,is John Force.
  16. That is incredible.I swear the two figures look so real.?
  17. Wow came out great.??
  18. Ah,I gotcha.Well again,they all look great.
  19. Well again, all your cars that you have recently posted came out great.??
  20. I actually have used a chassi/roll cage, engine, wheels and tires from a diecast prostock.Takes a little cutting and moving, but they fit really well under the 68-71 Novas.Usually i use a Chevy Jegs pro stock car.
  21. Wow,another one.Whatta beauty.Very nice job.
  22. Man,you keep building and building. They are all great. You retired or on vacation?Where do you find the time to build so many wild builds?
