  1. OmG,,,Wow this AINT English class folks..My head is spinnings’..oh sorry spinning.Sheeesh ?
  2. Seeing this recent picture of Gene Hackman,I guess for lack of a better word, shocked ? me.I’m a huge fan of his, from of course [The French Connection, and The Poseidon Adventure], along with a lot of his other movie credits.Just sad,but then again he is 92.
  3. Yea that’s what i had heard that there was a big increase in younger folks using heroin in Scotland,as well as here in the states. Not making light or jokes about people using heroin, but like i said i just thought both films were really funny in a twisted sort of way Lol.And while i really liked the first film,I thought the second film was just a GREAT movie, with excellent acting and a really good story line,as well as the music..Also seeing how the cast looked twenty years later was definitely strange.I would have say that Franco is probably my favorite character. He was nuts in both 1,&2..And i couldn’t believe how different some of the cast members looked like. But again,it is literally 20 years later.I think the first movie instantly had become a cult classic, for lack of a better word. And I really think in due time, the second film will become a cult classic.????
  4. IDK if this can be included,?‍♂️but does hearing the news that Kirstie Alley died today from cancer count?Very sad news.Always thought that she was pretty hot.
  5. Hey Stichdup,so you being from Scotland,I was just curious if you every saw Trainspotting 1,&2?IMO,they were sort of a drug use/robbery,very funny black comedies. They were both great, however i did like Trainspotting 2 a little bit better..
  6. Yea you said it perfectly. It does really suck.I always found her really attractive back in the day.She was way too young.I too didn’t know she was battling cancer..RIP darlin.?,?
  7. Thanks,wish i could’ve bought more.
  8. Yea that sucks,RIP.
  9. I’ll have a White Russian on the rocks. The Dude abides.
  10. I never knew what group sang that song, which appeared in “The Big Lebowski”,lol?
  11. I watched “Drugstore Cowboy” last night..Matt Dillon was great in this movie. He plays an addict who robs drug stores to get his fix, along with his girl friend,(Kelly Lynch),and another couple, played by (Heather Graham,& James LeGros)..It takes place in Oregon during the early 70s.Great movie, check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.
  12. Wow that’s trippy. It took me a minute to see the images at first.Very cool optical illusion.
  13. Ok,well sorry if offend anybody’s taste, but I saw a pretty lousy movie last night called “Hollow Man”,[2000]with Elisabeth Shue, Kevin Bacon, and Josh Brolin..After years of experimentation, a brilliant but arrogant scientist Sebastian Caine has discovered a way to make living matter invisible. Determined to achieve the ultimate breakthrough, Kevin Bacon pushes his team to move to the next phase,by using himself as the subject. The test is a success, but when the process can't be reversed,Kevin Bacon seems doomed to a future without flesh. He then attempts to destroy his fellow scientists as he feels they have turned against him..Idk,IMO, it ain’t worth the time. However if you enjoy Sci-fi,for lack of a better word, and you are a Kevin Bacon fan, then check it out I guess..I will add this though, the movie came out in 2000,and i never heard of it till last night.,hmm?.Then shortly after I watched that, the movie “Sleepers” came on,also starring Kevin Bacon. That was a great movie, from beginning to end.
  14. Yea the Rolling Stones (Monkey Man),is a great song.I have to say,it’s probably my favorite Stones song.I also gotta add a song from Pat Benatar,”Hell is for Children”..Always thought it was a great powerful song. And congrats to Pat Benatar,as she was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, along with Judas Priest.I saw both back in the 80s.
  15. Wow those are some VERY unique vehicles, cool.?‍???
  16. Ah the great late Bill Hickman.Probably the best stunt driver to ever live.Bullitt,The 7 Ups,and The French Connection.
  17. Smile Mr.Racoon your a candid camera.A smile from the wild.Saw this pic of a raccoon checking out a hidden remote camera someone put there by someone to catch wild animal’s in the woods..
  18. Happy Thanksgiving to all.A few laughs.??..
  19. What in the good Lord’s name is that?
  20. Yea,i gotta agree with you,i mean there were some pretty good parts, but over all the movie sucked. But if you want to watch a horrible movie, watch 54’.Oh man, such pure garbage…However after watching that sh**,I caught an Al Pacino mini marathon. It consisted of Serpico,Dog Day Afternoon[Attica,Attica,Attica],GF 1,&2,and finally Carlito’s Way,[Hey remember me,Benny Blanco from the Bronx?].As i mentioned before,I cannot think of one bad movie that Al Pacino has been in.He is,IMO,the best actor of all time.
  21. Oh yea, that’s exactly what was so great about the movie Heat. The shoot out was extremely realistic, and they got the sound of the gun fire perfect.Gun shots are very loud, and Michael Mann got it exactly correct..Plus the way the bullets were tearing through the cars and glass just added to the realism of the scene.Only thing I was bothered by,was when the get away car slammed into the cars after the driver was shot.,and the air bag didn’t go off,no im just joking.I also remember the real footage of the North Hollywood bank robbery shoot out happened, and the shoot out was very loud. Then some time later, when the movie “44 Minutes”came out about the shootout, the sound effects of the gun fire was also very realistic. There are so many movies, including some war movies that were not able to get the sound effects of the gun fire correct.I will have to say,i thought, that besides being great movies,Saving Private Ryan and Full Metal Jacket were able to get the gun fire to sound very realistic as well.
  22. Just watched Heat again for probably the millionth time..Great movie,Robert DeNiro, and Al Pacino, how can you go wrong? And of course the best shootout after the bank robbery.??
  23. Well there was one scene that i clearly recall,[and i hope the moderators don’t toss me off the website for mentioning it],was how should i say without offending anyone,?,lol..was the scene where Clint Eastwood, was in bed with the head mistress of the “school”,shelter, whatever it was, along with another female student.Basically a “threesome”,for lack of a better word, and all i could do was wonder, wow how crazy this was for a movie from 1971.Especially a Clint Eastwood movie.I mean don’t get me wrong,it was a very good scene.I just wasn’t expecting it.And how similar was the 1971 original version, compare to the newer version with Nicole Kidman? Is it worth watching?Cause i’m really not a big fan of Collin Farrell..Idk,I must have just been living under a rock to have never heard of this movie..Ok that’s all I have to say. Thank ya.
  24. I read an article and saw a picture of what was actually the prop for the movie. It made me laugh.Apparently it was actually a gold metal plate with a light bulb inside the case that went on whenever the case was open..But hey it could’ve been anything.
  25. Oh i never knew there was a remake.Gotta check it out.
