  2. Saab 900 3 dr Coupe Classic - 1/32 or 1/25 (I'm not fussy) steve
  3. Pleased to see someone else here in the UK has the kit! I'm guessing you imported it and it didn't come off a shelf. steve
  4. Didn't work from MacBook or iPad... steve
  5. Kai, Do you mean styrene sheet? If so, it's readily available in the UK. Try here https://slatersplastikard.com/ Also Evergreen can be found in many model shops. http://www.sherwoodmodels.co.uk/prestashop/127-evergreen-white-plain-opaque-styrene-sheet If you go to any decent sized model railway exhibition you are bound to find a trader selling it. steve
  6. The diesel railcar in the OP is German and their nickname was Pig. It would appear someone went the whole hog on that one... steve
  7. I love the way this is coming on. Never seen that dragster kit before. Would buy one if I did! steve
  8. That is superb and I completely agree with you about it being one of the best looking F1 cars of all time. There is a replica 156 in the Ferrari Museum at Maranello (I've seen it there) that was built for a film. (Chris Rea's La Passione) steve
  9. I find these type of competition cars (Modifieds, etc) amazing. There is nothing like them in the UK. steve
  10. Very nice indeed. Looks like it would be a fine 1:1 ride too. steve
  11. Thanks to all. Some food for thought there, especially yje 1:1 ifo steve
  12. That is a splendid piece of work. steve
  13. The headlights don't fit, the grille doesn't fit; who's to say that hardtop will... steve
  14. Thanks Bill for quick reply. As regards availability, if I could find the convertible (and that's a big if in itself) then it would be between £25-£30 ($35-$40) without postage... Car kit availability in the UK is pretty poor, certainly for rods/customs/etc. Plenty of sports cars, F1, etc but not much else. That is one of the reasons l was asking about aftermarket. The other is I don't want piles of boxes of incomplete kits. I intend each project to be an individual, discrete, one-offs with nothing left over if l can help it. Cheers steve
  15. I'm looking for one to put in the new Monogram 29 A I don't want to buy a whole kit just for a motor so can anyone recommend a good/suitable aftermarket product? Thanks steve
  16. I like the look of those bomber seats but wouldn't they be a bit hard on the backside? steve
  17. That is one cool machine. steve
  18. The Model Railway group of which I am part, are building a new layout. It is set around the year 2000 and requires a number of company vans, mostly Fort Transits and Connects. There are diecasts available of these and in the correct livery, however, out of the box they all look the same. Therefore, one of our number has been detailing and weathering them, adding roof vents, ladders, interior detail etc. These are 1/76scale, UK 4mm to the foot standard model railway scale. I thought folks here might like a look as they are something a bit different. There will be more in due course. Thanks for looking steve
  19. Just to make it clear, I wasn't complaining about the SBC, more being greedy and wanting a second mill (ie a flathead) as an option. steve
  20. Thanks for the review. The kit sounds great. Not that we'll ever see it on the shelves here in the UK mind... However, moving on, perhaps a flathead option would have been nice. Or would that be out of keeping with the general ambience of the model? steve
  21. Fascinating stuff! Thanks steve
  22. Thanks for the info and the opinions everyone. Most enlightening. steve
  23. Thanks for that. Do you know, that never occurred to me... steve
