Thanks Tom! I need an estate car, as we Brits call them, for taking my model railway layouts to.exhibitions. How come they aren't sold over there anymore? You're right about the garage. 10 years in this house and it's never seen a car. steve
Are they the same R Series engine as used in the Avantis? Hawks were the first American car to impinge on my consciousness when I was about 5 or 6 in the mid 1950s. steve
Here's a before pic of something I found in a box in the garage. It was built by me in the early 1970s and hasn't survived a few house moves well by the look of it. In fact, I had forgotten I still had it. Will get round to restoring it one day...

It's a very warm sunny day and I have the week off work.
And after lunch I'm off to the Yorkshire Air Museum with my camera.
A pretty good day I reckon

Having to rip up all the tiles on the upstairs bathroom because water had got under them from a leaky cistern. Plumber fixed the leak quickly and easily and now I have to let the floor dry out before I can re-lay.

Bill, I'm another fan of this build. When you say mould, does that mean you will be making copies and, if so might these be available to Forum members? Thanks steve
