  1. Very impressive! The John Wyer establishment was a short bike ride from my secondary school. We used to go out at lunchtimes to see what was about. steve
  2. Loads of trucks with them at a guess. Truck guys, what do you say? steve
  3. How about limiting the engines to diesels only? steve
  4. I built this originally in the late 1960s. It lived in a clear plastic box so has remained mostly dust free ever since, despite moving house 4 times and being buried in a box for many years. No doubt it's origins are plain as a Monogram 'Drag Strip' 32 Ford. The tyres are also Monogram of some sort. Not sure where the front axle, grille, radiator or lights came from now but the mill comes from an IMC 1948 Ford Convertible. (Which is still unbuilt to this day...) The steering wheel comes from a Frog Cobra, but everyone knew that The exhaust pipes are from a pick-up, Lindbergh 32 maybe? Shouldn't take much to restore this one! steve
  5. Thanks David. I have a friend who used to own a Vincent so I will pass that on. steve
  6. David, Is the Vincent a kit? Thanks steve
  7. Very impressed with the work you're doing here. I built a few of these Merit kits back in the last century when they were new but nothing to this level. steve
  8. Being a big Saab fan, that I like a lot! steve
  9. Nice motor. Agree the colour scheme needs changing, I would suggest the straight black and white would do the trick. steve
  10. Excellent job. Also, your way of working on these old kits mirrors exactly my approach. steve
  11. I had an FSO Polonez in 1990s which, for cheap second hand car was pretty good. Looking at your link Peteski it looks like I might be able to get a model of it. Thanks! steve
  12. This is an excellent "how to" for those us (OK, just me then) who lack the knowledge for how to make these sort of modifications. steve
  13. Well, the Austin Healey Sprite on the right and the Peugeot 304 Cabriolet on the left were easy steve

  19. What pleased me today was the birth of my third granddaughter, Baillie. Lovely healthy child, around 6lbs, a little underweight as she was a couple of weeks early. Now the fun starts all over again with a new life! steve
  20. I think I've worked out your secret. You are actually a 1/25 scale human and you are working on a real car in scale... steve
