What non-auto model did you get today?
Earl Marischal replied to chunkypeanutbutter's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Is that a Proto 2000 loco? Good price if it is! steve -
Although these are marketed for model railways, they could be adapted for vehicle use. They can be painted over too. http://www.archertransfers.com/SurfaceDetailsMain.html steve

Class choices. I had a Triumph Vitesse Saloon Mk II for 11 years. Spent a fortune on it but it was a great car. steve -

What kind of music.....
Earl Marischal replied to Hot_Rod_Bob's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Do you listen to music when modelling, or do you prefer silence? I find having the radio on helps me concentrate. It's usually Planet Rock or one of the BBC speech stations. Although if there's a good game on then it could be football. steve steve -

Earl Marischal replied to aurfalien's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think it might be a British kit from 1970s. Now sold by South Eastern Finecast www.sefinecast.co.uk steve -

What non-auto model did you get today?
Earl Marischal replied to chunkypeanutbutter's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Here's a picture from my previous US layout. The black & white is a stock Mercury from Bachmann and the dumper has wheels from a Mercedes A Class, a bench seat and driver and mirrors added, plus weathering. All 1/87 scale. Cheers steve -

Very nice indeed. I have several Proto 2000 locos and they run extremely well. I had these delivered: These are for my next UK-based layout. steve -
