Appologies for hijacking the thread Kurt. Spence if you look at eightyones website I think they do honda steels. It may also be worth looking at streeetblisters as they do a few honda specific parts. Ucsp might also be able to help, the guy there is happy to add new rims to his shop. Someone on here asked about vw golf mk3 steels and in less than 2 weeks ucsp was selling them

I'd probably try a pearl brown over gold/copper

Did you forget the elco Joe? I'm sure you built it this year

Do you keep your instructions?
stitchdup replied to VanSpence's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I usually keep them unless they are too damaged. You never know when they might help someone else out and they dont really take up much space. I dont worry about sorting them, their all just in one box -
Very nice

Hi folks, just wondering if theres an easy way to remove superglued resin from styrene without damaging parts? If necessary i can cut it off but before i do that i thought i'd ask for other ways to do it

I've found some pretty close cars but not this one. Pretty sure I know what country its from though, lol

Cool, I first heard of the yellowbird from the gran tourismo games but I thought it was a wider body. It had to be one of the best cars in the game and having it and the suzuki escudo jeep thing in the garage meant being pretty much unbeatable, lol.

I'm not sure mate, the only packaging was the plastic. It came from spain if thats any help

Wow, that a massive improvement over the dated original f40. Will be following

Another bug for the stash. I think it may be the same as the imai kit but will have to compare them. The parts look very simialr from memory. The vette was cheap and I was going to use the engine in my cannonball firebird but half of it is molded to the body. If I can remove it without damaging the rest I'll still use it but if not I have something else lined up. The front and rear independent suspensions are from motobitz and they look very nice with lots of detail so my delaheye build might be back on the bench soon. The spray booth I got for christmas

This one I got to give as a christmas gift to my friend who is restoring one of the last ones (probably the last sold but more research is being done) sold in scotland. His one is red but i wont be repainting this. Its in 1/24 and i got it from spain. It is in 1/24 and looks pretty well scaled to my eyes. None of the doors or stuff open. Appologies for it being in the plastic in the pics, as its a gift i didn't want to remove it from the packaging. I think I'll be hunting out another one of these for myself. For such a maligned car simply finding it in 24 or 25 scale was a pleasant surprise

19 inch wheels & tires 1/24
stitchdup replied to matthijsgrit's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
scale production and acsp have nice tyres, hobby design and 19eightyone can be a bit hit and miss on some with the inner sidewall of the tyres being rough/unfinished looking -

ucsp and hobby design do them in staggered fitment. the 1224 motoring might be the brand rather than seller. Have you looked on the scale modeller site? they stock a lot of afteremarlet stuff and are in The Netherlands also -

Scale production, hobby design and ucsp both have rotiform wheels in their catalogues and plenty of similar styles too. look for a seller called 1224 motoring on ebay too, i recently got some 21" rotiforms (cant remember the name but the first rims rotiform made, blqs maybe?) from them -
This is the mitsuawa golf cab kit. While this one looks like a golf now, there is 24 hours of shaping in the body. If you want a mk1 golf cab, get the revell one. The door panels dont even fit and just look at the dash, lol, but I'm not worried about that as it'll be a scrapper in a dio sometime. After taking this to work to build and seeing how bad it is it became a paint experiment after the body was more golf like. Apart from the body shaping this only took 3 hours to build and most of that was paint drying.

Neat, nice to see one of these built

I got them from ucsp on ebay, but they have their own site too. I would look on both as theres usually some differences between their site and ebay listings. They come with tyres and mounting parts for tamiya and aoshima mounts.

1966 ish vw crew cab
stitchdup replied to stitchdup's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Which version do you mean? I know some guys call the bay window a vanagon and some the t3. If its the t3 you had it shouldn't be too hard to build one out of the magnum/un/politzei vans -
