  1. I too like the wheels. I am not a big fan of that particular type of wheel, however they work on this model.
  2. I have several models to refurbish which I have received in various ways. My problem is how do you tell the difference between 1/24 and 1/25 bodies. Some are very straight forward, but I have noticed on some bodies it is hard to tell the difference. Most of them I can determine the manufacture but several leave me clueless. I would appreciate all the info I can get.
  3. If you are talking about Tamiya's Pink Primer coming from China, yea it takes forever. I have a brand new never opened can of that very primer right here. I really don't think I will be using it, if you are interested.
  4. As usual, a stellar job. Just love the interior. I am glad to hear your vision is much better today. Keep up the great builds. Mike
  5. What scale is that Harry?
  6. Nice one JC.
  7. You can also get the sanding sticks from Scale Motor Sports: http://www.scalemotorsport.com/tools/polishingstix.html . These work great in tight places. Also the masking tape idea works great. I used it on my last model a few weeks ago, along with the sanding sticks, and that really saved me.
  8. really nice work.
  9. Now that it was mentioned, when putting on phone etch, Future works great. Also good for putting windows in.
  10. Me like very much.
  11. Way to go Steve, and thanks for the pics.
  12. Embossing powder works real well. I have used both methods. Flocking does real well in most cases, but sometimes I find that embossing powder is easier to use especially if you don't have open sided interior. In that case it is easier to get the powder in the tub and when it comes to getting the excess out it comes out very easy and no dusty mess.
  13. I hope I did the right thing, but I just got an AMT 57 Chevy kit in the mail. This is the new one with photo-etch, wiring and more. Has 160 parts, and the box is much larger than the normal kit. Time will tell.
  14. I would go with a 47 Chevy Sedan, 2 tone Beige and Brown.
  15. Again, the cling wrap can cause static electricity. Not a real sound idea.
  16. It seems all the Nova kits are really cool looking. That was a great model. I just started a couple of years ago getting into the Novas. I really like the 67 Mustang coupe the best of all.
  17. This is a real beauty. Love the wheels.
  18. Unfortunately that is about the only Nova kit I do not have, thanks.
  19. That rod reminds me of when I built my 1/8 model. I believe it was called The Big T. I got it when I was 16 back around 1964 or 1965. It took all of 6 months to build. Even then with very limited knowledge I detailed the heck out of it. Even painted the lettering on the tires.
  20. Absolutely a beautiful build. I have 5 different Nova kits. They are really neat cars. Which kit # is this build?
