    If you are talking about the bands around the top, I use heat shrink tubing. Cut it to size, put it on and heat it up and it looks great. Different colors also.

    The old coat hanger is really the best. Started using one in 64. They never get old.

    Instead of gluing the stand. just put some tape around it to keep it from coming off.

    Some require buffing and some don't. The bottle or can of paint will let you know if it needs to be buffed.

    I don't about the trans brake part, but if you want to coil your line, get a small piece of tubing or something small in diameter. Then just start wraping it around the tubing and make a coil as long as you want.

    What are you putting decals on? If it is a NASCAR, then put the large ones on first, and if it is an other type of vehicle, then just follow the directions. Hope this helps. I am sure several members will chime in with their methods. I am no expert, but there is lots of help form other members that will be a big help to you.

    You can put white glue or micro sol liquid mask to the areas that will be glued, prior to painting. Then remove the glue or mask and glue the parts together. This way you will always have a plastic to plastic bond.

    Slow boat from China. I had experienced the same slow boat. That company is honest but very slow.
