  1. While that is a thought, I've already passed on the review kit. The word is that Airfix will not follow with a -3, but I have serious doubts that that's true. We'll see, I guess. Lots of other cool aircraft kits coming though (in 1:32 scale); Handley Page 0/400, F-18E and F, Hs 129, Ki-45, B-24, Lancasters, etc., to name but a few.
  2. Yes, I certainly will. I've neglected updating items I already have there anyway, so this will be a good way to get "back in the saddle".
  3. Cool. They're actually pretty nice kits, at least in my opinion. I intend to start my Razorback on December the 31st.
  4. I'm just the opposite. Being a huge fan of the tri-color schemes, the -5 doesn't really do all that much for me, so I'll probably pass on accepting the review kit of it.
  5. Speaking of big Jugs, you're aware of this kit?
  6. Same here, just a light dusting tonight, but getting pretty cold, about 20° colder than average for this day.
  7. Yep, both car door and bubble top versions, and they're just absolutely splendid kits (as was the big DeHavilland Mosquito from them). For what it's worth, Airfix will supposedly be announcing a brand new 1:24 aircraft kit this weekend at the Telford, UK show.
  8. I'd completely forgotten how utterly gorgeous Anita Ekberg was until very recently.
  9. I actually have quite a few; I can make a list for you if you'd like (big Typhoon lover here), but this one is probably the all-around best, for details anyway. And yes, the old Monogram kit still holds up well; not as nice as the two Hasegawa kits, but pretty decent nonetheless. This is my pride and joy, Typhoon wise.
  10. Next on my list, Japanese aircraft wise, is the Hasegawa Val. I had it, sold it, now want another,... naturally.
  11. Another kit I'd been wanting for a while, and now it's finally mine.
  12. I'm a mod on another site, and I'm constantly surprised by how frequently folks suggest that we get rid of this or that, as they don't think it fits the theme of the site. I suppose I can see their point to some degree, but my usual suggestion to them, is to simply not read any of it.
  13. I've never had mine removed, but I do frequently encounter sites that ask that I disable it for their site, which I seldom do.
  14. I saw it on the web, while looking for something else, and then chased one down on Amazon, because I just knew I had to have it. I think so too. I'm hoping to finally finish a model with some cool colors, and this may well be it.
  15. I inadvertently posted this response twice, but by the time I figured out that I had, there seemed to be no way to delete my last post. Sorry about that, but yes, my PPK/S was a real sweetheart.
  16. I have the razorback version of the Jug, and the 1:24 Trumpeter Fw 190D-9, is most certainly on my wants list. I'm currently building a 1:24 Bf 109G-14/AS.
  17. While I quite like the .380, my all time favorite, is the Walther PPK/S.
  18. Keep it,... definitely.
  19. Ordered by accident this month (long story), but I love it.
  20. One more for the pile, an early birthday gift from a good friend.
  21. Nope, the front seat has a distinct forward curvature at the outer ends, so somewhat different than the rear seat. Thanks for the idea though.
  22. This kit is certainly a strange hybrid. Many street rod additions, but keeping the original suspension system and differential, which seems like a strange mix, considering the upgraded V8 that's included.
  23. One thing that Revell did that's really quite bizarre, is to leave a huge gap at the edges of the front seat. I have no explanation for this. Some epoxy putty will take care of this, but I shouldn't really have to.
  24. Thanks for the input, Anthony. Since I'm somewhat new to the whole car modeling thing, I'll just stick to the basics, at least for now. As to the wheels, even though I'll not use them on this particular car, I may well use them on something else in the future, so I'll be hanging on to them. Sorry.
