  1. I may have to snatch one of these. They look great.
  2. I've seen some strange seat designs before, but this one is a real head scratcher. What were they thinking?
  3. Yes it does, Doug, helps quite a bit, in fact, so thanks very much. I'm working on the Revell kit right now, and they did some very strange things with the interior, that I assumed had to not be right.
  4. After "Googling" until my eyes were crossed, I've had no luck at all finding interior and detail photos of the '30 Ford touring car. Can anyone help? Thanks a bunch,
  5. Me too. It's hard to go wrong with a Willys.
  6. OK, fellas, for the very first time in the slightly less than four years since I joined here, I’m intending to finish at least one model for a car model contest here in May of 2019, and this is it. It’ll be mostly OOB (naturally), with hood glued on and no engine, but I’ll most likely switch out those funky wheels and tires. Color will be Tamiya TS41 (Coral Blue), with a khaki top, and no flames.
  7. My new Meade 4000 series Super Plossl 26mm eyepiece arrived today, and works just great. Skies cleared up briefly this evening, so I was able to some exploring, and it's a definite step up from the generic eyepiece originally supplied with the telescope.
  8. Not a bad idea at all.
  9. This arrived today, and is a kit that I've wanted for a very long time, but never seemed to get around to purchasing. Through a deal with a fellow forumite (different forum), I've now finally got one. The kit also included some nice Eduard stuff, so I'm already ahead of the curve there.
  10. Unfortunately, that'll probably never happen. I've seen this same issue crop up on virtually every site I visit. The problem, as I see it, is that no matter how many times that suggestion is made, or how prominent the suggestion is on the site, many will never read it and just continue to quote, showing the same 12 photos, only to say "great", or something similar. As a moderator on another site, I routinely prune photos in quotes (assuming they have no direct bearing to the reply, and very frequently they do not).
  11. And let us not forget,...
  12. OK, fellas, yet another cool tool for my tool needs. The very moment I became aware of this little drill (the companion to my Ridgid 12V impact driver), I just knew that I had to have it, so this month I finally went ahead and ordered it. Drill, two batteries, charger and nice carry bag, for just $80 and change, so a pretty darn good deal (especially given that the batteries alone are $40 apiece), and will come in very handy for some projects I’ll be working on here over the next few months. I'm a very happy guy right now.
  13. Wicked looking guitar, Dan. I like it.
  14. I need to eventually get something like this myself. Looks nice.
  15. Somewhat recently, it was Jennifer Tilly (until she got fat).
  16. My favorite .380 was, is and always will be, the Walther PPK/S. I sold mine some years back, but I'll eventually grab another.
  17. A good friend just gave me this, a Dell R610 rack server. This thing is just too cool; two 750W power supplies, two quad core processors, twelve RAM cards, six cooling fans, but only one of the six possible SSD's. Still, some pretty impressive computing power here.
  18. Mine (Tamiya) came from Amazon.
  19. And yet another review kit. (My stash just keeps growing and growing.)
  20. Another review kit showed up here last Wednesday. I must say that despite some shortcomings, it's actually very nice indeed.
  21. The transportation museum here in St Louis, has one of the Aerotrains too.
  22. Another small order arrived today, this time two blue LED cooling fans for my new PC (I'll ultimately be running six, plus the two on the CPU cooler), a dust filter for the bottom intake, and a six-pack of SATA 6.0 connectors.
