  1. It looks excellent to me.
  2. OK, didn't figure it would hurt to ask. What an interesting place that was.
  3. I can certainly relate to that. I spend hours each day just reading about models.
  4. You'll be listening to opera while you're working on the first kit?
  5. It may not look it, but this is the exact same color as used above. Odd how light angles play games like this.
  6. Very interesting. Did you ever work at Callaway? I worked there while the place was under construction. I spent most of my time in the turbine building, doing conformance inspections.
  7. I like that, Jon. Similar to what I have in mind, but mine will end up on a dedicated base.
  8. That firewall actually looks pretty good to me.
  9. I really, really wish I had my old phaeton to restore. Of all the models I've lost over the years, that one bothers me the worst.
  10. Finished the first phase of my electrical work in the basement today, and that pleases me immensely.
  11. I've seen shots of your area before, Tom, and it looks gorgeous. You're a lucky man.
  12. I keep thinking of the song "Red Skies at Night" by The Fixx.
  13. Aside from the Christmas truck I just saw, I don't recall seeing anything from you lately, Tom. You normally only build trucks?
  14. I'd have to agree, Harry, subject matter is everything. I must confess that I routinely dismiss about 85% of what I see here as being completely irrelevant to my interests, but a well done model, of any subject matter, is always a plus.
  15. I lucked out and found some paint here that seemed to be a good match for the interior color I desire, so here's the back seat all painted up. There's some crud in the seat, so after cleaning that up, I'll respray, then semi gloss it. I also painted the dash, front seats and door panels, but seats still need some additional work that didn't show until after painting.
  16. Some beautiful scenery around you, Ed. I'm duly envious. Everywhere I look around here, I see giant Maple, Oak and Walnut trees. Not that I don't like trees, but some open spaces would be good too.
  17. I really like where this is headed.
  18. Very little prevents me from doing hobby stuff, regardless of season. My biggest problem, time wise, is getting off my back side and actually doing anything.
  19. I agree. I figure Halloween, Christmas, Valentine day, and Easter vehicles, at a minimum. OK, thanks anyway, Tom.
  20. I don't get to this section as frequently as I should. This is just beeootiful, Steve.
  21. Really excellent.
  22. Real pretty. I like it a lot.
  23. Very nice, very nice indeed. I've got a few stockers I want to get to one of these days.
  24. Very cool, Tom, I like it. Do you have photos of the Pumpkin truck?
