  4. Nice job on this one so far. For utility beds. Spaulding Trading and Shipping has one. But I am not sure it will fit that particular truck. Modelhaus also has a couple that are very nice. But again not sure of the fit. Or as you mentioned .You could scratchbuild your own. Be Well Gator

  9. Luke, You are doing good here. And a fifth wheel is a possibility. I think I will have to borrow your idea . And put my Galaxy fifth wheel trailer behind one of these pick ups. Be Well Gator
  10. If you are going to change the way the front end sits. You will have to change the rear suspension as well. ie; Lower the front end means you will have to shim the rear suspension in order to fill the gap between the frame and the suspension to get all the wheels on the ground. Doing this should not be very difficult at all. Just needs a bit a care to be done right. You are doing a fine job on these trucks. Keep it up. Be Well Gator
  11. Arnd, You are building a really good model. here. And I understand and appreciate you desire to build anaccurate replica. But I will say this. First I agree with Terry. In the real world anything can happen! So even though this truck was not offered with a particular motor. It is entirely possible. That the truck had a different motor installed, either when new or repowered later on. But I also know this.Whatever motor you deicde to go with. It will be a work of art in and of itself. Be Well Gator

  24. I could've sworn I commented on this build. Great looking dump body. I like the working tarp. However there is just one thing that you might want to consider. You might want to make a spring to pull the tarp back over the loaded body. Be Well Gator
