  1. Thank Dan . I wanted to get away from the box stock idea. and do something a bit different. Without getting too radical . Be Well Gator

  7. Darren, I can see where that car would be a interesting idea. IMHO hearts and crushed velvet don't really go with Strippers and bikers ! I think it would be much more appropriate to go with denim leather and lace . oh I have a couple of a Harley motorcycles for you if you would want them?? Be Well Gator
  8. X's 2 You have this one looking real good. A classic hot rod style from back in the day! Chromed steelies , white walls , Oh yeah!! Be Well Gator
  9. Jim, Not sure what that grill is out of. My understanding of that snap kits was that it was based on a custom show truck, or it was someone artistic rendering made into a model. I think it is most likely a custom truck. It was a fun quick build .And was meant to be a filler vehicle for photos of my semi's. To everyone , Thanks for your interest and support. It is greatly apprciated. Be Well Gator

  12. I built this truck in the late 90's while out on workmens comp with a back injury. All told I think I built three or four tractors and maybe six trailers. I still have them but they are all in need of some sort of repairs or in need of a total rebuild. The model is basically box stock except for the headache rack from Rick Mark. And the model is lightly weathered. The Pick up is a modified Revell snap kit with the Utility body and top from Moelhaus ! Comments and criticisms are welcome. Be Well Gator
  13. This truck was built in the late 90's I am not sure how accurate the Bechtel colors are. But I though this orange looked good. I worked for Bechtel in the early 80's at the Turkey point Nuclear power house in Florida City ,Dade County Fla The logo on the sleeper is a vinyl hard hat sticker. Built box stock with some light weathering . Once again comments and criticisms are welcome. Be Well Gator
  14. Originally posted on Apr 16, 2011 This is a truck I built a few years ago. It is stock except for the rubber.Which came from Rick Mark. I built it to resemble a truck that had been pulled off the road, refurbished and relegated to pit duty or site work. Being no longer tagged to work on the road. Enjoy, and as always comments are welcome! Gator Comments and criticisms are welcome. Be Well Gator
  15. Now that is really beginning to look the part ! I like it a lot. Be Well Gator

  17. Autocar dump built mid 2012 Just prior to my move to the Philippines. Features Scow end with removable tailgate. New airhorn on left front fender . New rear light board with craft jewels for lights and a protective screen and full width mudflap. Modified to only three clearance lights. The bed has also been hardened for hauling rip rap. The model has been lightly weathered. Comments and criticisms welcome! Be Well Gator
  18. I would like to know . What will happen when the WiFi signal fades or disappears??? This idea while not new is kinda scary. I doubt anyone could program the computers to be able to predict and avoid some of today's crazy drivers!! I mean puttinging a automatic braking system to assist a driver is one thing. But I don't think that we are ready for automated trucks. Besides .What about the jobs that will be lost?? Couldn't watch the video as my WiFi signal is bouncing around and the site would not load!!! Be Well Gator
  19. Awesome job Pat from start to finish ! Be Well Gator
