  1. My daily drivers. 82 Thunderbird and 71 Custom with a 4 speed.
  2. There are so many great dashboards out there, but there is one that deserves an honorable mention. One of the best of the 70's in my opinion. Full instrumentation could be had in any intermediate Ford/Mercury from 72-79.
  3. They did address the bumper being too short. Looks like the added a score mark for the valance (although the shape is still incorrect) The front fender body line is crisper, but still looks to bulge out towards the lip. At the bottom, the rocker line is way to pronounced at the bottom of the fender. Rear quarter lower body line is longer but still looks to be merely a groove cut in the body. The upper rear quarter line is still too short and the quarter looks flat still. I will get one of these, and if the fixes are not too bad, maybe more than one. Personally, I'd rather be building than correcting. I will gladly take a nice, near correct body over a full detailed chassis any day. To some, good enough is enough, unfortunately, thats what we are given sometimes.
  4. it is, but "some" work was done from what the sedan was. Depends on the photo/lighting and angle to catch the changes or flaws. Does look better though. still needs rear 1/4 work.
  5. Yea, I'll be sure to get better ones...... these were last minute because of excitement to get to this point. Paint had to be stripped twice.
  6. The scoop screens are decals.... the body color shows where the wire would be. I need to try for a clear shot of them. Very nice.
  7. WIP..... 62 Comet Drag car. Added Thunderbolt scoop, removed molded exhaust, added headers. Remains a curbside. Better pics when finished. Thanks to Bob Boehem for the custom decals
  8. I'd say it does look better, still needs work, but a vast improvement. Bottom of the front fender needs some fill and the rear still needs a little. I see the bumper was lengthened too. Ohhhhhh.... do I still see a rear bumper guard sticking up? I'll get one.... or 4
  9. The Allison would go nice in the Lindberg Cord or Auburn......
  10. How did you replace the wipers? You going to scallop and flame the roof too?
  11. Charlie, get any pics of the one you saw?
  12. The Revellogram kit always looked to flat in the headlight area. Now seeing the pic of the actual car and kit pic together, I see that it is. Nice chopped version.
  13. That is a really nice build, and the brown actually fits it well. Looks great with the wood trim and saddle colored interior.
  14. I like it, and I usually do not like older "monochrome" cars
  15. I want this grill as an option too!!! LOL
  16. Ohhhhh, that video is horrible... horrible I say. I do not think the Del Rio was in competition with the Nomad, it was just a 2 door wagon like the Chevy 2 door wagon. Chevy built full size 2 door wagons til 1960, and Ford made them til 61.
  17. Cool tilt front end
  18. Another great one. You have competition building down there for sure. That bumper you did looks great.
  19. Is that Pearl White? What paint is it? It looks great. Oh, BMF is worth the time to do. I actually dread doing it sometimes, but am happy when done. You tube should have some tutorials. Build looks great none-the-less.
  20. Very cool looking. Hmmm... I may need to find one now. Thanks alot.....
  21. I want to do this pretty easy conversion....
  22. Wow, just saw this thread was started in 2007. oops
  23. am I correct to believe this kit is being released under Stevens International and R2? Any differences if so?
