  1. trim the bumper sides. A lot of guys did that for tire clearance in the event of a collision. They also did tube bumpers.
  2. Dominik, I like the way you used the black to depict the window seals. Nice touch for realism. Nice build!
  3. The AMT kit is very nice after some patience. The body line on the top of the front fender needs work because that was where the mold separation was. I usually sand it down and use half round styrene to replace it. The Revell looks okay to me, but I have not tackled the body inaccuracies yet.
  4. The hoarders will be upset...... SUPER RARE AMT FLAMEOUT SHOW ROD KIT #T378-225 Item condition: Used Ended: Jun 06, 2015 Winning bid: US $129.49
  5. I want a few.... I think a nice Pro Mod Fusion would be cool, or a cool pro touring car. At least the stock car looks like a 2 door.
  6. They look pretty nice. Did you modify the bumpers on the blue cars yourself? I like them much better without the optional ends. This is one of those kits that I did not notice the flaws on, but now I see them, they bother me a little, but I still have a few in my stash.
  7. I saw an early model (round headlight) Chevette on the road today. saw a K Car last week too
  8. I had my reservations on this at first........... but WOW it is so cool. I was hoping for a casket in it. Love the door knob trim inside
  9. Very cool... i have one stalled i need to get on
  10. Really liking this build. Love these old kits
  11. Very sharp looking. Love the colors and FE. Happen to have the rear quarter trim still? In need of the front angled piece (attached to the spear)
  12. Coolest Mustang EVER
  13. AMT 1967 Galaxie AMT 1962 Galaxie any 72-75 Vega's any 71-79 Pinto's MPC 66 Monaco 500
  14. Okay... Where is it at? Anticipation is killing me
  15. I just saw this thread and went thru every page. Wow freaking WOW..... The bar is raised so high I cannot even see it. Anyone wanna buy some kits? I may just hang it up after seeing this masterpiece of art.
  16. Anyone have pics of the parts in the R2 release? Dang, I did not know it was different than the others. Is there a top for a hardtop?
  17. Give them time.... we are seeing some repaired tools. Many not seen in years. When it comes to building, I prefer these over many of the "New" releases cuz it seems some just cant get the bodies right. Most of the AMT and MPC bodies are very accurate, and I am good with that.
  18. yay............. sbc for the "trading box"
  19. The center of the roof at the "B" pillar is chopped less than the front or back of the roof. The roof is too "flat" looking and the V in the windshield, cowl and hood are almost non-existent. The body sides are very flat, rocker panels are squared off along with the bottom of the rear quarters, the hood has an odd shape where the compound curve goes from the side to the front. Body is pretty thick too. Just a poor example of a great car. Have seen some nice builds, but the body issues just jump out to me personally and far too much work to fix. That is my view of the car, I hope it does not start a big pissing match like my detailed critique of the Revell 57 Ford Custom. This is an AMT, used the 1/4 windows from the Revell body (best part of the body, LOL) I have about 2 hours of work into it.
  20. I 100% agree!!!! Keep 'em coming
  21. I have several and they look great done. Yea, the chassis detail could be better (the 66 Galaxie could be used, but you need to stretch it a bit) The way I see it, my kits are not displayed on their roofs
