Tom, have you ever thought about submiting an article to MCM showing some of these old customs? It sounds like you have enough to do a page in each edition. Greg, what do you think, would it be a worthy addition to the magazine?

Thats funny, after this project I started doing mine in the kitchen over newspaper. I didn't know about the hairspray but I can see how it would keep the particles in place afterwards, thanks for the tip.

The concept is great, I like were your going but I have a couple of suggestions. Angle the deck up and over were I assume the engine is in the cab so you can move the front car forward some, then only make it long enough that the rear car's tires are just on the bed. It looks like you may already be thinking the same thing based on the pencil marks on your template but if you could shorten the whole thing just a bit the proportions would be more pleasing. Just a thought, either way I am looking forward to seeing more.

Shaping up to be an interesting truck, I'll be watching.
