  1. Very nice.
  2. Thats really cool, I would love to have the complete bike.
  3. I would second this. Personally, I would start with one of the Hemi's I have in my parts box and scratch up some valve covers like in the picture, and the water pump, oil pan, and motor plate would be fairly strait forward to make. The tunnal ram and carbs are available from many resincasters including Morgan Automotive detail. http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ccp0-catshow/Carburetors.html . Well the carbs are anyway. I know someone has the tunnal ram i just can't remember who right now.
  4. Wow, that's really nice!
  5. Really nice, I'm more of a high boy fan but I like what you did here.
  6. I really like the interior and how you did the firewall to match.
  7. Looks good, I'm a sucker for a green car.
  8. Thanks, this is really helpful. I may get a couple of those duster kits and replace the 340 with a slant six.
  9. Check some of these sites, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/71864-aftermarket-directory/ , also http://www.modelroundup.com/ , http://www.hobbylinc.com/plastic-models all have aftermarket parts. One thing to be aware of is a lot of the aftermarket parts are coming from guys like us that have regular day jobs and do this on the side so if you see something you want get it as it may not exist next week. I kept putting off getting some Ross Gibson engines and now I can't find what I wanted.
  10. I did this and a 54 Hudson at the same time so I set aside most of a Saturday to do both. This one did not have very crisp lines for the trim but I hear the later issues are much sharper. I haven't built one though so I can't confirm that. The trim that runs along the top of the fenders and back around the fins had almost no engraved detail in most spots. Thanks for all the kind words, I'm hoping after sitting on the shelf awhile most of the bend in the chassis will go away and I will try to correct that poor fit of the fenderwells to the body.
  11. Another nice one, as usual.
  12. Nice, The engine looks great and I really like the seat. I can never get decals to look good with a satin finish, yours look awesome.
  13. Looking forward to this one, looks good so far.
  14. As Aaron would say, this car needed an altitude adjustment. I also added some modern wheels and a Hearst shifter. Other than that its stock. The chassis pan was warped and I got it as straight as I could but I didn't notice the frame bowed down in the front until I was putting the thing together. I also completely spaced on the ejector pin marks on the inner fenderwells. Maybe some day I will revisit this one. I kind of wish I had done a lace pearl on the roof but maybe next time. I flipped the spindles over to lower the front and added lowering blocks in the rear. I also scratch built some disc brakes for the front. Thanks for looking, comments and criticism's welcome.
  15. Thank you for all the kind words. This was my first Moebius kit and I enjoyed building it even though I have absolutely no experience with Hudsons. The information in the instructions is so much better than what we have had to work with for so long, the time I would have spent doing research was spent actually building. I will definitely be buying more of their kits. On another note, I liked Fotki better than Photobucket but I guess I will just have to deal with it as I have no intention of buying a subscription. Here are a couple of pictures after a lite polishing.
  16. I played with this a little bit in between watching paint dry on other projects recently. I'm starting to move my stuff over to Photobucket so this will be my first try with posting a picture from my account. I added the distributor, carb, headers, fuel line, and throttle linkage, along with a coolant tank and scoop. I still need to add an air cleaner in the scoop, and lines from the tank to the thermostat housing and water pump. Thanks for looking.
  17. Great models Mark, I like them both. Steve, you won't be disappointed, Tom Hardy owns this role. I think there is more car chase action in Fury Road than in all three Mel Gibson movies combined.

Very nice, the trim looks right at home.
  19. I don't get all the criticism about this kit, your doing a fine job. Besides, it says right on the box that it's easy to build.
  20. I have no idea what happened with the last post. Weird.
