  1. I think the stock wheels are the hubcaps on the chrome tree.
  2. Just finished this Sunday, haven't polished it out yet since I am trying to finish a 60 starliner right now also. I need to make a note not to do 2 cars with so much BMF at the same time. Mostly out of the box except for a Parts by Parks distributor, flocking, and Kens Custom Dice. I also added fuel lines from the pump to the carbs. The color is testers bronze and its got several coats of testers wet look clear. The roof has a bit more shine than it looks in the pictures. I gave all the chrome a light coat with Tamiya smoke. This was my first try at painting over the foil on the scripts and scraping off the paint, I cant believe how much better it looks this way. I also did some light weathering on the engine and chassis. I wanted to add heater hose but could not find a good reference picture for both hoses. I know one comes from about 11 o'clock on the water pump, runs above the intake next to the head, and through the fire wall next the right horn but I don't know were the other line goes to the engine. Much thanks to Art Anderson for advice on the interior colors, I know they aren't correct but I got closer than I would have without his advice.
  3. Beautiful, my favorite color on a Dart, well done!
  4. Here are the kit contents The box says molded in black but it is molded in white. The body. The decals. The chrome. The tires. The instructions. Clear and red parts. The rest of the parts trees. The engine looks like a generic small block, not too much detail there although the transmission looks to be a manual. I haven't checked on parts fit but there isn't a whole lot of flash, and parting lines are about as to be expected from MPC. This kit is several kits down the line for me so I won't get into building it until January or February at the earliest. I go past that park to pick one of my kids up from school but I was watching Fast and Loud so my wife went to pick him up today, otherwise I was going to get a picture and put it on here for a laugh.
  5. Since September is suicide prevention month I'm obligated to take those Lincolns away from you, for your own safety of course. Seriously, great job on these, I like them both but the 64 is my favorite.
  6. I have some models I want to put SB and BB mopar engines in, what kits in your opinion have the best, or rather, most versatile engines and are still cost effective as donor kits? By that I mean still readily available and have other parts that would be useful in the parts box.
  7. Really cool, I especially like the armor plating on the doors.
  8. I recently got 2 of these, I will try to get pictures soon. Any particular pictures or just the normal shots of the trees, body, decals and instructions?
  9. So I still feel like I have seen this same thing on a web site but I did just see the Lil' Hot Dogger is listed in the Oct. issue of Scale Auto.
  10. I feel like I saw the same thing a few days ago on on of the retail websites in the coming soon tab but I don't remember which one. I think there was another related kit with it.
  11. Very nice, I like the color.

    70 CUDAS

Very nice, did the kit come with the heater hose and decals?
  14. Ever since they redid the site the search function has worked fine for me.
  15. That is too cool, and I love the color with the wood.
  16. That's Crazy! I dig this, the more you look at it the more there is to see.
  17. Great job, I like it!
  18. Inspiring as usual Chuck!

Yeah, I can't even plug anything with a hard drive into the government computer and any e-mail I send is limited in size.
  22. Thanks again Art, after reading this some of the pictures I've seen now make since vs the color call outs in the instructions. They only mention the blue/medium blue, gray/medium gray, and tan options without the brown. I think if I was trying to build the 65 Satellite with the Hudson color codes in the instructions I would been able to figure it out.
