  1. I did a bit of bodywork and put on the suspension and wheels (they need a bit more adjusting). Working on the interior of the camper now-no pics yet.
  2. Beautiful work! That's one big pickup. I love that gun in the back.
  3. Nice color combo! I will put this Stude on my list to get.
  4. Here you go. The next pics will be in the Under Glass section.
  5. Looking great! I love that interior. My brothers first car was a '67 Camaro SS. I think he paid $1200 back in '72. I wish he still had it!
  6. I primed the body and puttied and its ready for another coat of primer, I also installed the engine. I decided to use the baby moons for the wheels (unless I find something better). Thanks for looking. Dave
  7. I added a hatch to get to the engine. A VW engine wouldn’t fit so I used a Corvair 6 banger instead.
  8. I found some seats to recycle and a home made dash from styrene and dash parts. I will need to putty all the imperfections in the dash. Dave
  9. Ksnow, I had seen that online. It’s really cool. I like how the bug can turn around while it’s attached to the trailer.
  10. Espo, thanks for the heads up on the pic in this mag I will check it out.
  11. Thanks for all you kind comments! I am looking forward to this challenge.
  12. My friend sent me this pic of a VW van pulling a VW camper. I have had a couple VW van models that I had been thinking on what to do with them for a coupe years. After I saw his email with the pic that sealed it! The pic: Of course I will be adding my own touches. After about an hour or so I had this. It was made from the Tom Daniels Baja Beast. The other van (not shown) is a 23 window partial glue bomb. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. All constructive criticism welcome. Dave
  13. Nice work! I love that color. Looking forward to the finish line!
  14. You could cut out a Vee in the center of the hood but not all the way to the front and clamp it back together. Then add some half round for the ridge.
  15. Beautiful work. That paint is flawless! I was at the Desert Classic show and somehow I missed this model. Dave
  16. I put in a few more hours on this. I scratch built the rails and they just need to be chromed. I also painted the boom and added the chain and hook. Thanks for looking Dave
  17. Thanks again for the nice comments!
  18. Awesome work!! it’s so nice to see another generation getting into model building. Your daughter is showing a lot of talent. Keep up the great work! Dave
  19. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. These years are very versatile for builds. Dave
  20. This came out excellent! Many models are challenging, but that's the fun of it.
  21. I would like to see 1/25th scale stock motorcycles like - Panheads, Knuckleheads, Flatheads, Sportsters, Triumphs and BSA's.
  22. Thanks again guys for your comments. The boom is all done except for the sanding and finishing touches. I used 40 pieces of styrene and one chain for this. Thanks again for looking. Dave
