  1. That's a real nice build- great job on the details. Nice paint job to have come from a plasti cote can. Does that stuff always go on good? I've not been able to find it around where I live.
  2. Neat build!
  3. Nice model! I'm so slow it blows my mind anyone could build a model in 24 hrs. Heck, I spent the better part of 6 hours the other day just trying to wire a distributor kit!!!!
  4. Nice rod... Great skills you have.
  5. Nice!
  6. Sure is a nice ride! You do excellent work. Did you use flocking for carpet or something else?
  7. Super nice bird!!
  8. Nice car- the great thing about modeling is being able to do it the way you want to. Besides, I'm sure they probably had a green color back then that was at least close to what you picked. Looks pretty authentic to me!
  9. Beautiful model! The color choice and interior are nice!
  10. Nice race car!
  11. Boy, that's a nice 'Cuda... Great job!!!
  12. Now that's a nice model. I saw this kit the other day and wondered what it looked like out of the box. You did a nice job. It don't look like that bad of a kit. Looks like something that could be a lot of fun to build.
  13. Love this bird!!! Saw this kit at hobby lobby and wondered about it. Is it all box stock? I wondered about the wheels and the red bird on the hood. Excellent work.
  14. Whoa, wait... It's 2016, not 15!! DOH!!!
  15. Here's more under the lights.
  16. Here's my first build of 2015. Tamiya Nissan Calsonic Skyline. My first Tamiya kit. Have to say it was a pretty good one. My interest in this one came from my love of playing racing games like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. Box stock. Took me 3 paint jobs to get it right. First time I tried to settle with the testors blue enamel that Hobby Lobby had. Mistake. She took a bath in degreaser. Second time I had er slick and went through while polishing. So the THIRD time I laid on 5 coats clear and it finally worked out. While I was impressed with the kit, I was NOT impressed with their spray paint. Went on slick and as it dried it fuzzed up something awful. The slick paint you see is the 5 coats of clear and a lot of elbow grease. Hope everyone likes it.
  17. One of the most beautiful jobs I've seen. Tell me, when you use a nascar suspension does it automatically lower a street car to the perfect height, or does it still take some tinkering? I'd love to be able to do some lowering, but I'm somewhat intimidated so far.
  18. Wow. Can't say much that hasn't already been said. I'd like to hire you to give me weathering lessons. Every piece is perfect. Love the oil can on the hood and the cat underneath. The grass and weeds- did you make them out of something or purchase them? I don't even know these cars and started not to view this, but I'm so glad I did!! True art. Mastery. Perfection. Those things are what everyone on this board is after, and you absolutely annihilated all three in one fell swoop.
  19. Sharp car! Slick black paint looks great!
  20. Boy that's a sharp model!!! I love slick paint jobs and that's one of the best I've seen!! Great job!
  21. Excellent!! I want to do one of these rally cars only with a lot of mud.
  22. Not my particular subject matter, but this thing looks great. That slick red paint is awesome!!
