  1. Nice work on this one.
  2. Thanks Gary!! Thanks Steve!! There were a lot of Great Danes back in the day with the mudflaps mounted this way. It is probably less effective, but, I like the way it looks too. Thanks Jim!! Thanks Victor!! I've been wanting to do a group shot. Thanks Warren!! I used HVAC aluminum duct tape. The nose and back doors were chrome in the kit, I covered the sides with aluminum and then polished it a little bit. I got the idea from KJ Humphreys. It turned out okay for my first try.
  3. Nice looking Marmon!
  4. I’ve always liked the Carolina letters on their refrigerated trailers. I think that the fleet is done for now.
  5. Thanks Jim!! Thanks Warren. I have found that Tamiya tape works best, but I do have trouble with residue. Lacquer paint also seems to help. A thin fast drying coat as opposed to the slow drying seeping enamel. Thanks Gary!! Thanks Ken!! Thanks Tommy. As soon as I finish the trailer, I think that the fleet will be done, at least for now. Thanks Chuck!! That is a B-67 that actually resides at the Transportation Museum not very far from where I live. I have several pictures of it. It was the inspiration truck for this build, especially the air starter tank. Thanks David!! Thanks Scott! Thanks Carl!! Thanks!! Thanks Chris!!
  6. I finally took time to finish this one. AITM resin cab, glue bomb AMT R-model frame, resin rear wheels and tires from AITM, pewter rear axle from AITM, resin tanks from AITM.

  14. You are truly a craftsman!! I enjoyed watching this one come together! It is by far the best Dodge cabover that I have ever seen built! As Charles said, the details and weathering is perfect! It looks real! Excellent work!
  15. Actually, I wasn’t aware that the 4-53 was available in these. Do you have any reference material on these trucks with a Detroit or even an engine compartment picture? I have 4-53 references, just not in one of these, at least not that I remember.?
  16. Beautiful fire truck! Excellent work!
