Thanks for posting the picture. This was one of the inspiration trucks. The other one had 2 hole Budd wheels. I did add dual stacks, which is different from any of the reference trucks that I found. I did that for two reasons. First, the Detroit just wanted dual stacks. Second, I wanted to use the odd offset stack set up that Ford used. The driver side stack sets closer to the middle than the passenger stack. I thought that was an interesting detail, so I wanted it to have it. -

Looks great! I spent a lot of time in a 69 very similar to that one. As a matter of fact, two teenage girls rear ended me in the one I drove. 30 years later my neck still feels it. Great job on this one! -

Brockway cab over question
DRIPTROIT 71 replied to tractoraholic's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I think that brown and tan interior would be right. There is a picture of a 457 and a picture of a 459 on Ebay for sale. They both look to me like they have brown and tan interior. I also found a 459 on the internet that looked to have brown and tan interior. I thought that I had reference pictures, but they were the old interior. The 457 had the inline diesel and the 459 had the v configuration. I built an AITM 457 daycab a couple of years ago, but it was the old style and I painted the interior green. Like has already been mentioned, interiors were changed, so you can't really go wrong. If I were building a newer interior version, I would go with tan and brown. -

I was wondering about the vent on top of the cab. This thing looks amazing! You are truly a craftsman! Excellent work! -
