  1. Thanks Chuck! It was a lot of fabricating.
  2. Thanks Mike! Thanks Dan!! They still have semi drag races and circle track races, but I don’t know if many, or if any use a 2 stroke Detroit anymore. I haven’t kept up with it either.
  3. Looks awesome! You have a talent for detail!
  4. This is the lower cab version. The higher cab has an extra bar in the lower grille.
  5. It took me a little bit to find it, but I thought that I had it somewhere. Maybe this will help.
  6. Looks great! I spent a lot of time in a 69 very similar to that one. As a matter of fact, two teenage girls rear ended me in the one I drove. 30 years later my neck still feels it. Great job on this one!
  7. Thanks guys. A little more progress.
  8. I have tons of reference pictures but no measurements. I have another resin cab, but it definitely has some proportion issues. I’m liking this project. This will be good. You might be able to send James Pretty a message on YouTube and get him to measure his.
  9. I think that brown and tan interior would be right. There is a picture of a 457 and a picture of a 459 on Ebay for sale. They both look to me like they have brown and tan interior. I also found a 459 on the internet that looked to have brown and tan interior. I thought that I had reference pictures, but they were the old interior. The 457 had the inline diesel and the 459 had the v configuration. I built an AITM 457 daycab a couple of years ago, but it was the old style and I painted the interior green. Like has already been mentioned, interiors were changed, so you can't really go wrong. If I were building a newer interior version, I would go with tan and brown.
  10. I was wondering about the vent on top of the cab. This thing looks amazing! You are truly a craftsman! Excellent work!
  11. Very nice looking build! Excellent work!
  12. Thanks guys! Moving along slowly.
  13. Just keeps getting better and better! I can’t wait to see the 466!
  14. Thanks Force! And thanks for the info! Thanks Jeff!
  15. Beautiful build! Very nice work!
  16. You make this scale look good. Very nice work! Looks great!
  17. Just about have the chassis ready. It’s looking like a truck anyway.
  18. Mine too, but I missed this round. Maybe he’ll offer some more later.
  19. I like it! Great job! I’ve been considering getting one of these myself. I’m glad that you posted this one!
  20. I knew this would be good! It looks like an Awesome start. Looking forward to seeing more!
