  1. My kind of build!! Excellent work!! Very Realistic model!! I like the wood on the bed! The mix match paint job is my favorite!!
  2. Very Nice Build!! The paint job is awesome!!!
  3. Thanks for all the comments guys!!! The wheels are from KJ over at Double Take Replicas and the tires are from Moluminum Model Truck Parts. I've always likes regular two hole steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, and I wanted to do something different on a custom truck than aluminum wheels.
  4. WOW!! I'm glad that you posted this! This thing is incredible. But it cost over 5 Million to build. I thought that I spent too much on models.
  5. Nice!! I really like the box trailer. Is that something that you sell in kit form?
  6. Very nice milk truck!! Nice to see an old Dodge cabover like that built. Excellent Work!!
  7. Yes sir! Since I can't afford to start a real project like that one, I have a few more model projects in mind inspired by these Detroit powered pickups on Youtube.
  8. The tank itself is sheet aluminum. The end caps are from the AMT K100 kit. Thanks for all the comments guys!!
  9. Very nice!! I like the added trim! I still have an 84 K20.
  10. Those all are some sharp looking trucks, but the last yellow and white KW is my favorite!
  11. This is one sharp looking KW!! Great work!!
  12. That is a very nice looking rig!! Great work!! Where did you get the fuel stickers. They do not look over sized like many others do.
  13. That frame is looking good! You're using the same frame rails that I am on my H model. I only wish that I would have ordered Auslowe cross-members like you did, that was a good call.
  14. Very nice!! I've never used the torsion bar suspension before, but I've always wanted to try it, at least one time. I've heard that it can be kind of tricky to install.
  15. I had stopped building about 13 years ago, because of other interest for one, but I had made model building too tedious and not enjoyable. If I'm not enjoying building (or not in the mood) I don't build. Gator I'm sure this build will be great, but most of all enjoy the build. When the mood hits you, there will probably be no stopping you. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this build.
  16. Looking good Travis! Yes, primer does count as paint. I had a couple of cars over the years that never made it past the primer stage. Speaking of removing what you put on, I used almost a whole can on the hood of my Diamond Reo. A little advise; Duplicolor paint and primer, as well as many others will continue to shrink as they cure which will continue to reveal places that need attention. If you sand too soon, before complete curing, an area that looks flawless, may not look that way in a week after shrinking. Don't ask how I know that. L.O.L.
  17. I really like the paint job so far!
  18. So sorry to see this one broken, but I'm sure that you will bring it back even better than before.
  19. Wow! This one is really coming to life!
  20. Thanks for the comments guys!! Well, I tried making an aluminum visor today. I'm not happy with it and plan to make another, but you can get the idea. The metal that I'm using is very thin, and I got too many wrinkles in this one, and it doesn't fit exactly right.
  21. Thanks for the encouragement guys!!! The engine is painted to match the frame. Alpine green or "Detroit green" has more blue in it than this shade of green does.
