  1. That is my kind of build!! Very nice work!! The weathering is top notch!!!
  2. That interior is really looking sharp!!!
  3. Thanks for the comments guys! Sean, I'm not sure. I have some chrome automotive tape that I've used before, but I'm considering green straps.
  4. Thanks for all the comments and encouragement!!! Well, I tried making my first set of aluminum tanks. I have mixed feelings on how the first one turned out, but after two hours of hand polishing, I'm calling it finished. A look at the radiator shows why many H-63's have a cut out in the bumper.
  5. I really like the Peterbilt, but I REALLY like the KW!!!! Very nice work as always!! I would like to see more pictures though!
  6. That is one sharp KW! Great work!!! I've got to admit though, when I first saw the plans for the custom hood, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I've never cared for any of the 1:1's that I've seen, but I really like this one!! Top notch!!
  7. That is a sharp looking truck KJ! One problem though; I want to see more of it!
  8. Very nice detail work Terry! You are truly a craftsman!
  9. Very nice work! I like the work on the tanks!!
  10. Thanks for all of the comments!!! A little more work done today. It was a nice day for painting. Floor pan is fabricated and primed. Basic frame is painted. Engine is painted. Wheels are painted. Air bags that I casted are painted and installed.
  11. What he said!!! Excellent work!!
  12. This thing looks like it came straight off of the cover of Overdrive magazine. Top notch!! Excellent Work!!!
  13. Very Nice! The Wheels look great by the way!
  14. You are really doing a number on this one! Excellent Work!! Now the mechanic can actually get to the engine.
  15. Nice Build! I had problems with warped parts on mine too. The top of the cab dog dished downward, the cowl bowed down in the shape of a u, the hood was twisted, a the bed was twisted. I was able to correct everything but the bed with a little heat. I didn't catch that the bed was slightly twisted until final assembly, so I didn't attempt fixing it. But these are nice kits, just packed a little too tight in the box. I like your choice of colors too. Nice Work!
  16. Thanks for the comments guys! Thanks Clayton! Yes, that's a rotary dial phone. I have two, but they no longer are compatible with my U-Verse phone service.
  17. I started working on the floor pan today, so I could be sure about the engine clearance. The resin floor pan was really designed for a curbside model and wasn't completely accurate, not to mention very thick. I thought that it would be better to start over. Here is a picture of the real thing: Here is the resin floor pan compared to the start of the new floor pan. I added some bracing to the underside. The front of the floor pan needed to be angled up as well. And believe it or not, the engine clears!!!
  18. Thanks Rob! The Ford is the Moebius 71 Ford kit with some modifications. It is in the Light Commercial section in both the Workbench section and Under Glass. Mike: Thanks for the kind words!
  19. Looking great! 10-4 on the windshields. I think that I made about 20 for my Bighorn before I got one to fit like I wanted it to. This has been one of my favorite builds! Looking forward to more.
  20. Very cool build!! It makes me want to sing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".
