  1. Auslowe lists some really great stuff on their website that is not readily available from other sources. I have purchased some of their products before from Spaulding Trading and Shipping, but I had always been hesitant about ordering directly from Auslowe themselves because they are half way around the world. I thought that maybe others felt the same way that I did, so I thought that I would share my experience. Well I finally placed an order with them. Fifteen days after the order, my stuff was shipped, and they arrived safely at my house ten days later. Auslowe sent emails confirming my order and confirming that my order was shipped. I was very pleased with both the product and the service and plan to purchase many other items from them in the future. I would highly recommend them.
  2. Wow!! This thing is going to be awesome!!
  3. All of this with a snap kit! Wow!! Great work!!
  4. Just a couple that I've built in the past 18 years. This is the best picture that I have of this one. I added a Clint Freeman air lift axle. This one is a stock AMT that I built 18 years ago I updated the ladders. This was my second try at getting back in to model building in 2014.
  5. Great work Sam!! I really like what you're doing with manifold. It makes me want to open the hood on the B-61 that I got from you.
  6. Looking better all the time!!
  7. I thought that I was the only one that this happened to. I like the colors. This thing is going to look great after the repaint.
  8. Looks like a cool project. I had one of these cabs once, but sold it. Oh well.
  9. That's cool!! It is the same name, but I'm not sure if it's the same company. This company had a yard in Charlotte NC and one in Alabama (I think). The trucks painted slightly different and were white with a reflective red and a reflective blue stripe. I know that they leased trucks to Monkey Grip and Hudson Transportation. Thanks for posting the picture.
  10. Very nice! Nice job removing the side molding!!! Great Work!!!
  11. You'll get a laugh out of this process. Now remember, I was 20 years younger back then. The truck is painted primer grey like a lot of mud hole trucks were back then. My brother took his Honda four wheeler and spun up some loose dirt that was very fine almost like powder. I taped out the windshield wiper pattern and then sprayed the truck with clear lacquer. While the lacquer was still wet we threw the dirt on it, and then sprayed it with clear lacquer. This took several times. After it dried, I air brushed it with Testors flat brown. When that dried, I dull coated it. The few places where the dirt fell off, left grey primer, which would look like a truck coming from the mud hole with mud falling off. I was pretty happy with the finished product. I'm going to try this again one day in the future.
  12. I like this game! I like jacked up trucks. I've had several 1:1's over the years. This one is an old "High Roller" kit that I built close to 20 years ago and the photo is about that old. I took a picture of the photo with my phone and it is a little distorted, making the rear tire look like it is leaning, but it is not. This one was built many years ago as well. I wish that I would have kept this one. This is a recent build.
  13. You really bring your builds to life! You are truly an artist! Excellent work!!!
  14. You certainly have collected some nice parts!
  15. The interior looks great! The color is spot on! I like what you have done with the CB.
  16. Wow!! What a paint job!! Great Job!!
  17. I hope you get back to building soon. You are in our prayers!
  18. Nice work!! My dad drove one of these from time to time from Wilco truck leasing. When his truck was down. They were white with blue and red reflective stripes on them. I never really liked them then, but these things sure bring back some good memories. I went back and looked at the one that I built years ago. I had raised the bumper on it, but I couldn't remember why I had removed the chrome trim around the grill. Well I guess now I know. It was so that the cab would tilt.
