  1. Thanks guys! I have actually finally finished this one. I will probably post this one under glass tomorrow.
  2. We’ve restored a few old tractors. That is how we like them, better than new.
  3. Beautiful tractor!! Very clean! It looks slick as glass! Great work!!
  4. Thanks!! Thanks Dan! No trailer though. I don’t have much display room right now so I have very few built trailers. I would have to add on to my house to build a massive rig like you’re building. ?
  5. Thanks for all the comments! If finally got started back on this one.
  6. Thanks guys! I didn’t realize this had been dug back up.
  7. That is going to be one big outfit! Great work!
  8. I have a couple of those kits but have never really looked at one. I’m sure that you could make it work. The front axle may be set back too far, but that can be corrected. I also like the blank frame rails from GW Trucks.
  9. I don’t think that there is one perfect donor although the Louisville kit would Probably be a good start. I usually research as many photos as I can find and try to cobble together something close. I like using the 4300 frame on a lot of projects as it is a basic frame with Hendrickson suspension.
  10. Very nice!! I like the color!!
  11. Beautiful tribute Charles!
  12. I used his NHRS Cummins in my IH Highbinder. I have the F850 that I hope to build sometime soon too. Looking forward to seeing your build! Great quality, but allow about 6-8 weeks for delivery.
  13. Interestingly enough the Freightliner truck manufacturing plant here in Rowan County NC in the town of Cleveland used to be a M.A.N. bus manufacturing plant until 1988. Regardless I like to see all of your builds!!
  14. Carl, we will be praying for you and your mom. So sorry to hear about your situation. I too have to deal with the tremors, and it can be quite frustrating sometimes. I think that it is pretty obvious that no one wants to see you leave the forum. You have been an asset to this forum and as already mentioned, you don’t have to build to post. I hope that you are able to stick around and thanks for all of your encouraging words over the years.
  15. The weathering looks perfect! Great work!!!
  16. First, I really like the color scheme! Second, I like that the bumper isn’t two miles away from the cab! I really like the outside pictures! Great work! Beautiful truck!
  17. This thing looks perfect!! It looks like it just drove up out of the 60s or early 70s. Top notch work!
  18. This has been one of my favorite builds! It seems to get better and better too! Excellent work!
  19. This is looking great!! Excellent work!!!
  20. Thanks so much! Krylon color master cover max blue ocean breeze from Hobby Lobby.
  21. I really like what you have so far Brian!! It looks great!! I like these trucks!! Great work! I did a little research on these when I built mine. For anyone who might be interested, here is s what I found. First, Dodge was bad to change how they identified their trucks so there will be variations. Most of these were identified this way: L- series of the truck V or N- v configuration engine or inline S or T single or tandem drive Some were referred to as simply LS or LT without the middle digit. My wrecker build was tandem drive with a 6-71 so it is a LNT 1000. Just some fun useless information. ? Looking forward for seeing this one built.
