  1. Great looking build Pat! I like the headache rack! Great work! Awesome looking fleet!
  2. Great looking Mack! Great tribute to your dad too! Nice work!
  3. Great work Brian! This may be my favorite Alaskan Hauler build that I've seen. The weathering is very convincing! Looks Great!
  4. Well I'm impressed. First you made a master in plaster, then after casting it in fiberglass you came up with this great looking model. I've worked with fiberglass cabs before, it is hard as a brick. Top notch work!!
  5. It has been quite some time since I ordered from Auslowe, but it took 3 weeks to process my order and then 3 weeks to arrive after it was shipped. There was no world wide emergency at that time. From what I understand, international orders are experiencing pretty large delays right now. I'm even having trouble getting things shipped from Canada without it taking forever. If it took 3 weeks under normal conditions, I would figure around 4-5 weeks, just guessing.
  6. If I'm not mistaken the two 525 engines from that era would have either been a 12v-71T Detroit or most likely a KTA Cummins. Both of these offered 525hp ratings. While these aren't listed on this brochure, they may have been available in another year model or a very special order. "Supposedly" the 4300 that I saw with the 3408 was factory, but it was said that only a few of those were built. I've not found a listing that shows one available though.
  7. The 3406 was available in 75. This brochure is labeled 11/74. I plan to build one with a 3408 based on a truck that I saw at a truck show.
  8. Great looking fleet of Fords! Great work!!
  9. This is a beautiful rig! I like the colors!! The Peterbilt looks just right pulling a dump!
  10. Beautiful build inside and out! It looks like you lowered the cab too. Great job! Looks like the real thing!!
  11. I'm not KJ, but he hasn't visited the site since May, so I'll respond for him. KJ had those 3-D printed and used to sell them as well, but he has given up the aftermarket business for now to focus on the family. They were a great product though!
  12. I realized a while back that I haven't built a Peterbilt in about 20 years, so here goes. This is the AMT 359 1100 cab wrecker kit "construction" version. The hood looks to be a Bill Drennen product, probably cast by Porky. Front wheels and tires are unknown resin. The rear wheels and tires are A.I.T.M.. The engine is 8v-71 Detroit and the transmission is a 4x4 Spicer. Here is where I am so far.
  13. Looks great! Nice weathering!!
  14. Absolutely beautiful build Carl! A friend of mine had one of these in white. It was one of the fastest street cars that I've ever driven. Great work on this one!
  15. Great looking build! Very clean!
  16. Great looking Firebird!! It doesn't seem like that long ago when these were popular on the road. Great job!
  17. Now that is cool!! Great job too!!
  18. Great looking build! I really liked those kits when they came out! Looks great after all these years too!
  19. Great looking gasser Jim! Great work!
  20. Great idea Pat!! Well executed too!
  21. Thanks James! There's quite a bit of logging around here, but everyone seems to use regular logging trailers. I hope to build one of those too some day, but my to-do list is much greater than my time. ? Thanks!! Thanks Warren! The inspiration was a daycab cabover Freightliner on Youtube with this type of log bunk set up.
  22. Thanks for the kind words Carl!! Thanks Brian!! This was one that I had wanted to build for a long time because these Food Lion trucks used to be common on the road around here.
  23. Great looking build!! I personally like the look of the 106 better than the 120.
