  1. I've only actually seen a couple of tilted ones in person myself and they didn't even have modified oil pans on them, or they didn't look to be modified. As many short hood trucks as there used to be on the road they were most likely pretty common at one time. I like where this build is headed! Great work as always Tom! Looking forward to seeing more.
  2. Do you guys ever just want to build a simple build without tedious plumbing? I do sometimes. I picked a new cab with all the chrome and interior parts for $16.00 on Ebay a while back. I picked up a built chassis for $20.00 at a swap meet a few years ago. There's no plumbing on this one except for the back of the cab. I shortened the built frame and swapped out the wheels with a 4070A. I swapped the engine for the IH V-800 to be different. I modified the battery box to better represent a B-Model. I built this one in one week. The only aftermarket parts are the intake scoop and decals.

  7. The details on that look very nice!!
  8. Beautiful work Jeff!! On the exhaust, have you considered making those manifolds center dump and mounting the turbos in the center of the top of the manifolds?
  9. I hinge most of my cabovers like Brian and Jim have shown, but I often use brass doll house hinges from Hobby Lobby for hoods. I take 1 hinge and cut it in half for 1 hood. Here's the Louisville. I'm not sure if you can see it. But try zooming in. Here is a U model done the same way: Here is a White 9000 that you can see them from the front.
  10. Great looking fleet!! I think that the cabover KW is my favorite. Great scratch building on all those trailers!!
