  1. Looks almost ready for a hot load of asphalt!
  2. Looking good! My only complaint with this kit is that the cab fits loosely on the interior bucket and there is a lot of gaps around the firewall unless you fill them. I used Evergreen styrene to fill the gaps on mine. I also used doll house hinges to hinge the hood. As far as the bed to the back of cab clearance, it looks like the one that I built years ago is the same way.
  3. I'm amazed at your ability with those individual rivets. You can fabricate a truck a lot faster than I can build a truck. Great work!
  4. Wow! Sorry to here about your accident!
  5. Looking good!! A lot of work being invested here for sure! Craftsmanship at its finest!
  6. Great work! You did an excellent job of capturing the movie truck! Great scratch building!!
  7. Thanks!! Thanks Kerry! Thanks Gator!! Thanks! Looking forward to seeing what you come with. Both resin versions of this one have their issues. I modified the grill on this, and although it is not exact, it is closer than it was to the real thing.
  8. Beautiful build!!! Excellent scratch building!!
  9. Excellent work! Looks great!! I like the paint job!
  10. Looks great!! As far as engine colors, it could have been painted grey after an overhaul job since grey was a Mack color. A company that I used to work for painted all their Mack engines grey when they overhauled them even if they were originally gold.
  11. WOW!!! That is one incredible looking model!
  12. This is my favorite build of yours to date! To say that is looks Excellent is a major understatement!
  13. I built this one about 5 or 6 years ago: 100_1753 by Brian Smith, on Flickr I built this one about 20 years ago: 100_0778 by Brian Smith, on Flickr
  14. I like the color! Nice!
  15. Thanks guys! The wheels are from the AMT "Super Boss" kit. The tires are from KJ at Double Take and in "my opinion" these were the best drive tires for a vintage rig on the market, but are sadly no loner available.
  16. I'm really liking the colors!
  17. Thanks for the comments guys!! Well, I'm checking in for February, I've got the basic chassis mostly done.
  18. Looks Amazing!! The weathering and detail is perfect!
