  1. Excellent build!! I spent many a hour in a 69 very similar to this one. As a matter of fact, I was rear ended by a couple of high school girls one morning on their way to school. My head hit the back window so hard that it knocked it out of the rubber, but didn't break the glass. I hope to build a replica of that truck some day too. Excellent work on this one!! The modified bed sides made a big difference in the look of this one.
  2. I always enjoy your builds, and this is no exception! Your weathering is always spot on! Excellent work!!
  3. Wow!! Incredible fabrication going on here! Thanks for the tip on the white paint!
  4. You really work fast! This thing looks Great, especially in the outdoor pictures. Great work!!
  5. Looks great! I've enjoyed watching this build! I've learned some things. I never knew that there was so much inside of one of these.
  6. I've gotten my notebook out! Class is now in session! I'm taking notes! You've got my attention!!
  7. Great work as always!! We always called those small doors; rain gates. Great added detail!!
  8. Amazing work as always Charles! Are you going to make a Gold Comet inline 6 cylinder gas engine too? From what I understand, that is basically the same engine that White used in later years. I was hoping to try and make one for a 9000 White project myself some day. Looking forward to seeing more!!
  9. Nice clean build! Looks great!
  10. Very nice looking Marmon! And scratch built too!! Excellent work!! Great paint job!!
  11. Beautiful builds! I really like the paint jobs!! Great work!!
  12. I watched this one from the beginning. It looks like you put every detail possible into this one, and all from scratch. Excellent fabrication work! It looks like it is ready to pave the next job! Great looking piece of equipment!!
  13. Beautiful work as always!!
  14. This looks to be Alain Bradet "mackd" who is a member of this forum and builds some awesome models. I may have to place an order myself. He has a lot of cool stuff on this website. It says allow 4 weeks to make. To get it here from Canada would make it about 6 weeks probably.
  15. Thanks Herman! This is my project except mine will have the setback front axle. It is the old flat windshield cab that I think 48 or 49 was the last year:
  16. Thanks Hermann! Those are all of the newer cab that believe began in 49. Do you know if the chassis were basically the same on the 48 and back trucks? Those restoration pictures will be a huge help if they are. I will definitely use those as reference.
  17. I'm in need of some old Autocar reference photos if anyone has them for an 40s model old cab DC 75 or DC 100. I mostly need interior and drive train reference pictures. Maybe some inside shots or under hood shots, or may be underneath. I know this is a long shot but I thought that maybe someone like myself takes tons of reference pictures at truck shows and maybe caught one of these. I may just have to use creative license if I can't get any pictures. Thanks, Brian
  18. I could look at this for hours!! First of all I'm a "Red Power" fan, so any IH truck is a great subject choice. This thing has so much to take in, from the small engine on the rear, to the engine details, from the floor mats to the hood latches, this thing has it all. True Craftsmanship at its best!
  19. Excellent work! It looks great! The weathering really adds to the look.
