  1. I know that Testors lacquer is not as hot as most lacquer, but it's a good rule of thumb to never spray lacquer over enamel. If the Wal-Mart paint was enamel, that may be part of the problem.
  2. Well I've got started on the cab, but nothing really to show yet.
  3. I've seen some pictures of restored trucks with pogo sticks, but the only original image that I could find looked like the hose were hanging from below the back window on the cab. With it being a short wheelbase worker, I would probably hang them off the cab, but I don't think that either way would be incorrect.
  4. That looks great!! Excellent work!! Pat, I'm no expert, but from what I understand many of the strait trucks had hydraulic and vacuum assist but the K-8 and KB-8 road tractors had air brakes. I know that air brakes were available.
  5. I like how you turned this workhorse into a custom cruiser. Looks great!
  6. You just have a way with a Kenworth! That is one excellent build! The paint scheme and the spokes really make this one stand out! I'd like to see all of your KW's together in a photo some time, if you can get them all to fit in one photo.?
  7. Amazing work!! This thing is Awesome!!! The weathering is incredible!! I like the subject matter too!!! Great work!
  8. You have my attention!!!
  9. Seriously nice scratch building!
  10. I like the colors too!
  11. The engine looks great, but it sounds kind of like the valves need to be adjusted. ?
