    I would like to build my old 66 Satellite. I had 2 66s and a 67 Belvedere. My 66s both had the bucket seats and console like the GTX kit and the both had the dip in the back seat. A grill, front bumper, tail lights, and trunk trim would be great to convert the GTX kit.

    First I widened the bed so that t wouldst over my drive tires. I lowered the sides and removed the upper side boards. I made a new tail gate framed with plastic but sheeted with aluminum. I made a new cab guard with roll tarp. I sheeted the sides and inside with aluminum to create the dented effect. I made new outside bed braces. I made a new cylinder. I made a dump extension on the rear.

    moluminum.com offers an excellent 6bt and 4bt Cummins. Both will probably require modifying the engine compartment to make them fit.

    You nailed it perfectly! I loved that look back then and still do. I used to run over 100 p.s.i. in the air shocks on my 66 Satellite. One of my friends in high school used to kid with me that I could crush cars by backing over them. Great work!

    Beautiful build! I had 2 63 Fairlanes years ago. Both were two door posts. One of them had the red trim and red interior like your build. I wish that I would have kept at least one of them. I really like this one! Excellent work!!
