  1. You can never go wrong with a cabover!
  2. Always great to see one of your KWs!!! When my first son was born I stopped building for almost 10 years. I really enjoy your builds! I've enjoyed your great products and exceptional service, but spend time with that new baby. Although it may not seem like it at first, they grow faster than you can imagine.
  3. Looks like a cool project!
  4. I always liked this kit. You've done a beautiful job with it.
  5. Thanks for all the comments guys! I will have to finish the 7400 first, which it's getting close. I picked up several of them and the 4300 kits when Ollies had them for $19.99. My torsion bar kits are on top and it was just easier since I'm not going to start just yet to take a picture of the stack. I'm going to check with my dad and make sure that his truck didn't have torsion bar, but the plan is to use a Round 2 kit. Guys I have trouble building one at once, but I hope to build a set of 3 new KWs hooked together for delivery one day. I don't have any pictures of the KW. I just have pictures of Freightliners and 1 Ford Cl9000. This one will be painted just like the 7400. I do have trailer pictures though. I keep getting ideas for new projects, then I get the idea that I need the kit for that project and well here we are. I'm afraid that I have more projects planned than I will ever be able to finish though. But I'm glad I'm finally getting to this one.
  6. It's looking more and more like a truck now.
  7. Thanks Lee! It was something that I had been wanting to try for a while.
  8. Great project! Looking forward to seeing this one!
  9. Interesting project! Looking forward to seeing more!
  10. It may be that these trucks just weren't very popular in Canada. Around here they were pretty common in the 70s. They were called Japanese Freightliners because some of the parts (I'm not sure how many) were made in Japan. They were cheaper than the Freightliner from what I've read and that made them appealing to freight companies. The company that my Dad worked for had 3 of these and also an early Road Commander which was just a dressed up version of the 7400.
  11. Pat, I don't know if you remember, but I built a daycab one of these 3 years ago and you sent me some parts to finish it, some lights and horns I believe.
  12. That is an all around beautiful build! The photography is awesome!!
  13. Thanks guys! I never like the old square cabs either back in the day, but now they are some of my favorites. The interior is done and a few other odds and ends have been done now.
  14. Looking forward to seeing this one!
  15. Looking forward to seeing more! On the ladder it should bend back pretty easily, if not, you could make new ones from wire.
