Man, I came This Close to getting one of these. In the end, the Kia dealer gave a better deal on a Sorrento, so that is what I got. I may have to get one of these! This really neat. Nice to have a chance to get something is at least close to my daily driver.

They could, but the complaints about the detail not meeting 21st Century Standards would be deafening. LOL My opinion is that Revell could extend the tooling for a Wagoneer off the Honcho tool, include an older grill (or even two variants) and they'd have a hit. I'd buy one just to have the older grill for a backdated Honcho build. Sadly, I do not believe that the potential sales numbers would pencil out. I do still hope that we will get one someday.

Look at the wheels offered by Big Donkey Resin. He has some close to that. http://www.bigdonkeyresin.com/big_donkey_web_site_017.htm

That's Okay, Carl. Chad shows at least one coming. The others will follow in due time.

I have both Aurora 1/16 scale Stutz and Mercer kits. They are curbside, but better than the Lindberg kits. Sadly the vinyl tires have caused sever "melt" damage to the wheels and other parts, so the kits are now ruined. I'd like to see Atlantis find those molds!!! That said, I want a 1/24 or 1/25 Mercer, to display next to the MPC Stutz Bearcat. Round2 could re-use the tooling for the tires and wheels from the Bearcat, but would have to start fresh for the rest. If anybody tools one now it will be either a Chinese or Eastern European company. No American Model company is big enough to pay for the tooling costs.

Curious to see what the "Coke" extra is in the '60 Ranchero?

Great Showrod Build! The Pink Colour suits it well. -
So, they go back to the well for the '60 Ranchero, and the '41 Plymouth... The '65 Fairlane Mod Stock, is the 3rd out of 9 potential Mod Stock kits. I am excited to see that. The Grumpy Jenkins Vega is very nice to see. That leaves the Mustang & the GTO. I read a whole lotta Guff about the GTO kit, so it will probably remain a mixed bag of a kit, with two sharply drawn sides. The "Haterz" and the "It's the only Game in Town" guys. I have no Monkey in That Circus, let me tell you. The Mustang is a kit I should know, but my memory draws a complete blank on this kit. I'll wait to see what it looks like on the shelf. For Now, I don't need one. It will be interesting to see what comes out over the next 6 months. Round2 will sell me three of the Mod Stock kits, and a couple others. ('70 Fire Chief Car & and the Pinto Popper, at a minimum) It has been a good year already, at least for me.

Upcoming Car Kit News from NNL Motor City

My guess is that Blitz/Revell has a stack of paid for, new tooling for these iconic Street Rod Fords. The have a long life as a Money Printing Machine, after the bugs (of whatever variety) have been worked out. Sooner or later, all versions will be released. But, in what order, and in what permutations? I have no clue. If Blitz/Revell is like most companies, they are as anxious to get the product on the shelf and making money, as you are to buy it. So my last thought is this. "Patience, Grasshopper" We will see them when they get here. My only other suggestion would be, if you fear that you'll never see them again, purchase a whole case of them, just to be safe. -

A K-Max! Glad to see one of those. -
Y'all know that you have to throw away any Exacto (or any other) Blade that cuts you? Old superstition I was taught by my Grandfather. Once a blade has tasted Human Blood, it wants more. Unless the blade is a Fighting Knife or Sword, any other blade that cuts you, should be trashed. It may be silly, but I've never kept a Jackknife, Hobby Knife, or Razor that cut me. Never been cut by the same blade twice.

Steve Earle brings it home for me.

I want the General and the FLC. I'll have to get one of the 1/24 Trailers for the Freightshaker as well.
