  1. Other boxings come with wider front tires to fit the huge rims on the basic Chrome tree. Those narrow tires are for the extra rims on the small chrome tree that is in the kit.
  2. That Cooler alone, will sell me the kit. I've resisted the upright Coke Machines. I cannot resist that Icechest Cooler.
  3. I have tried to test fit the top from the Build'n'Play to the Snap TR Wrangler. At least for me, the top came nowhere near fitting. Size issues and other fit problems. I might try again though just to see if I was wrong. Does anybody have both kits?
  4. I'm a fan of Power Wagons too. My first car was an M-43 Dodge Ambulance. That said, I don't see them ever happening. Too Old, Too Complex to tool, and Too Little Sales Potential. They just do not excite enough buyers to be worth the investment. I really the Station Wagon idea. Use what has already been tooled for the Belvedere, and Satellite and bring out some wagons.
  5. Yep, the Same Kit was also released as the "Mojave Mule" 4x4 with the neat "Off Road Research" graphics. This kit just jumped to the top of my list!
  6. IIRC, Rob the same "iffy' small block V-8 that Revell used in the Chevy Square-Body Chevrolet Trucks. Like the Billy Carter Pickup.
  7. Tom, I hope get your Refund. That looks awful. You must have been so upset when you opened the box.
  8. Fine looking Build, Dave. Sometimes a great looking model does not need to be complex.
  9. I'm stoked about the "new parts" that will be added to the Jeep. Stuff that was designed and tooled years ago, but never used, comes back to give Revell an "All New Kit" that they can market. How many other 'Tooled but Never Used:"parts are hiding in plain sight at Revell? I doubt we'll ever know. But as "New" versions of existing kits come to market, that will give some idea of what is there. I'll be buying that LUV too. Odd little truck. Now if they'd add the trailer and Motor Cycles! The Elky, will sell in huge numbers, I predict. It is a sharp, clean design, and with all the options in one box, it gives the builder a number of directions to take the build. That will make it a great seller. I'm in for at least two of 'em.
  10. Thanks, Andrew. I'm a Terminal Supervisor for Levinge Freight Lines in Bakersfield CA. https://levingefreightlines.com/ I really like the photos you have shared of your Rigs. That Ole' Mack is a Brute. I checked, and it does not look like AITM has anything close to that in Resin. I wish there was a kit of that truck!
  11. I'll third the Recommendation for Model Roundup. I use him quite a bit. Fast and Trustworthy.
  12. Joe, how awful. You made the right choice. I'll say a prayer for her soul. Spend time with your Dad. He'll be shocked by what happened, now matter how prepared he seemed. Be gentle with him. (and be gentle with yourself, as well)
  13. I like "Snort" What da heck is he? I wonder if AITM makes a cab for him in resin?
  14. I'd think the US Gov't Pinto had Gray, Tan, Black or White interiors. But, that is just a guess. Ford could have just as easily just sent whatever colour they had too much of.
  15. Well, I have this kit. And I want to build something like this... Only using the Belvedere Body.
  16. What a generous offer, Nick. I'll keep it in mind.
  17. I wonder what possibilities there are kit bashing this with a Butch Leal, "California Flash" car? Can I get those big Hillborns to fit the Belvedere? I'd guess so, but the will be only one way to find out. I'll have to buy this kit too!
  18. So would I Eric! It was stolen in 1992.... Never was recovered. I'll hafta try and find a pic or two of it. White Rootlieb body, Red-Orange Wire Wheels. Totally stock motor. Was a "Looks Only" car. It was my only car for a two years before it was stolen. Imagine a Model T Speedster as your only car for 22 Months. Grocery Shopping was really fun. So was the 3 months of Hand Cranking when the starter broke, and I had to save up for a new one. ( I was Young and Broke at the time)
  19. Eric, what a beautiful T!! My '26 Speedster never looked that good.
  20. I've seen Factory Spoke Wheels on T's in both plain varnished and black. Not sure what triggered the difference. As for online pics of Model T's, be sure that you distinguish between 'restored' cars and actual vintage survivors. Many, restored T's are now 'over-restored'. They look great to modern eyes, but are not authentic to the real cars. Instead, they look like what several generations of 'experts' have deemed to be authentic. Many 'stock' Model T's today have been restored two or three times in the last Hundred or so years. Even the subject of this kit is 93 years old! The ICM T? 106 years. Hard to believe.
  21. Now, that is a Build Idea, Mike!! US Gov't Pinto. In Olive Drab no less. Thanks for posting this.
  22. I strongly suspect that this kit was tooled entirely for the domestic (i.e. Korean) market, with North American distribution an afterthought. I want one, but it may be awhile before I get one. I'm glad to see a new tool that is NOT million dollar Supercar.
  23. I bought a 2017. Lease is up this year. I've really liked my Sorrento.
  24. March! That is less than three months away. That is great news! Heck even if it slips until June/July that is still awesome news. Now I can finally build one, instead of hoarding the two I have. (one '29, one'30).
  25. Me Three! There is a mid '70's one that I see here in town sometimes. It is not for sale, Drat!
