  1. Yes! Thank You, Jason. Now to print off a copy and get to work.
  2. Ah, Thanks, Casey. I'll dial back on my desire for this, and focus on other kits, then.
  3. One thing about ours, that I've noted since they reopened. It is packed! Every time I've gone, it has been jammed full. Long Checkout Lines, No Parking, and the aisles are full too. And, no, nobody can be seen with cloth and elastic tape to make Masks. They are all buying the same, cheap "Made in China", Home Decor POS that H.L. is famous for.............. I'm not sure what's going on.
  4. Glad she was able to have it done. She'll feel much better in only a few days, at least to judge from the 3 hip patients among my friends who had it done. All of them reported that they felt better quickly, and that moving was much easier. You'll both be thankful.
  5. I like your thoughts, Ralph. The Wedge Hauler and a '68-'72 Chevy would be great. A "Diamond in the Rough" type issue would be awesome too. Any combination of Pickup, Trailer, Race Car, like the recent Cobra Team would be perfect too.
  6. Any more news on this Olds? I'm ready to get a few!
  7. Has anybody seen the '63 Galaxie yet?
  8. Over on the 'other board', some buyers of this kit note they have gotten Big'n'Littles in their kits. A whole bunch of differences on tires in these kits, that's for sure! I need to scrounge a set of Redlines for my build.
  9. Jack, Have you seen the instructions? Any other tips you remember?
  10. Nice Blazer! I like the paint. But, it sits way too high!
  11. Lee, the fact that you got tampo printed tires, shows that there are at least two runs of this kit. Those with, and those without. This could also explain why some kits have flash, and some don't.....
  12. Yes, I could use one. Email sent.
  13. Those are some 'Stout' looking trucks. No Nonsense, Brute haulers. Wish Round2 would bring This kit back. I've always wanted one, and even now they go for stupid money.
  14. Amen, Brother! That is what is currently killing F-1, for me. I like Parades..... But, Not on Racetracks.
  15. I use those laminated Cardstock mail, as Book Marks. I am always happy to get them. Thanks for the thoughts on the Bed. I'll probably use something from and old Monogram(Black Widow?), or Lindberg parts kit.
  16. So, I checked my H.L. about an hour ago. Wonder of Wonders! They had no new kits, OTHER than the Supernatural Impala! There were two on the shelf. One Followed me home. Now only one remains. Mine will be a Fire Chief Car. After opening it I have three points. 1. Tires have NO DETAIL on the sidewalls. Completely Blank! Not a great move in my opinion, but a minor Niggle 2. Body, and Hood, as well as everything else has a semi-gloss, "Bead Blasted" flat finish. Not a problem, but the plastic is very noticeably, Not Shiny......... 3. No Flash on the body in my kit. After seeing the pics posted here by others, I made sure to check my copy. I'm good that way. Last thought. Any Ideas on a Donor Kit for a 350/Auto Trans combo, to transplant into the kit? Failing that a Big Block Auto Swap. MPC '76 Caprice Maybe?
  17. I have no answer for you, Rich. Just be thankful that you do.
  18. So, about 75% '32 Coupe then? Could the bed be from the AMT '40 Willys? Or maybe one of the Lindberg Model T Pickup kits?
  19. I've actually got the AMT Coupe kit, so there is that to start with. Looking at the picture, it looks like Chrome, Small Block Headers. So, Maybe the Coupe's Engine? Those Salt Flats discs on the front are in some versions of the AMT '32 Roadster, as well as many old Lindberg Hot Rods.
  20. Richard, that is exactly what I thought, too. Although I pictured the '63/64 car.
  21. I saw this page in another thread. On the bottom of the page is a rear view of Smitty's Deuce Coupe Pickup. It says that instructions are available for build# 2325 for only $1.49. This is from 1963. I was born in 1963. This thing has captured my imagination. Now, I want to try to build it. Caption says that it uses the AMT '32 Coupe as a base. That's all the info I have, so far. Could that be an AMT '34 Ford Pickup Bed? Was the '34 even around in '63? I do not remember the history of the '34 P/up kit. I like the Wide White Slicks in the rear. Can't see much of the engine. Looks like twin carbs, on some kind of highrise manifold. 409 mebbe? Do you think it uses the Coupe Chassis? I'm on the hunt for a copy of the Building Instructions mentioned in the ad. Also looking for ANY more information, Pics, Ect. that might help with building a copy of this.
  22. Steve, I've been told by the girl stocking kits in Bakersfield (Central California) that you have it correct. Despite being 2.5 hours from the docks in San Pedro, we are almost the very tail end of the distribution.Personal observation over the last 3 years, has proven this. We get kits 4-7 WEEKS after the Mid West, and 3-6 WEEKS after the East Coast. And some kits that show up in other stores, just NEVER get here. I've never gotten a good reason for this........
  23. So, What are the chances that the last Two, (Cobra Chopper & Black Max) will see the light of day? The Black Max is the only one of the 6 that moves me.
  24. The same thing happened to me with the ' 60 Chevy Truck. I saw it once. went back to buy it later and it was gone. I've never seen it again.
