That missile armed Heli, is pure fantasy. Adams had a Hawk Missile Battery kit with the triple launcher on a trailer. The just re-used the missiles on the Cessna, as an attempt to get more mileage out of both tools. {not that any Model company has every tried that BEFORE!!}

Dave and Bill E. have the right of it. The "Internet may be forever", but Digital only lasts as long as there is electrical power. Future Historians will know literally nothing about the last 20 years, because so little of substance has made it to hard copy. "Dead Tree" is the only way for the Future to learn about the Past.

I've seen your name on the board, and wondered if I've ever bumped into to you at a Model Show. The same, goes for the the other Posters from California. I'll miss the '68 Coronet kit, I guess. I hope that it sells well, and is a hit. I will miss seeing the '64 Olds kit, that is for sure. Tank Care, hoping you make it by some day.

I'm an OCD/ADD personality type. I have been diagnosed "On the Spectrum" as it is said nowadays. So, this hobby has been my primary outlet for 40 years. It is rough to think about giving it all up. And yet..... There is a curious sense of freedom and relief as well. As to those who are concerned about my health, other than the normal issues of any overweight, 57 year old, I'm still blessed with good health. Don W. I'll save you a seat!

Well, the time has come. The world is changing (and not for the better). I've decided to lay down my tools, and sell my kits. The time for (escaping) the world's issues by playing with (sophisticated) toys is over. I've buried 40 years and part of a marriage into Plastic Modeling. It brings me less pleasure every month. Time to move in new directions, and become a different version of myself. I want nothing more than to hide from ugly reality, and continue to futz around with kits. But, the time is coming when than won't be an option, so it's better to move now, than wait for the decision to be taken from me by circumstances. It has been great fun, and I wish it could continue. Sadly, it can't, at least not for me. I've enjoyed everybody I've corresponded with on the board. I have talked to some great folks, and had some great times. Had some great trades. If you live in Southern California, and are interested in buying my collections of Car, Truck and Airplane kits, send me a PM. I cannot deliver, but I'll be happy to help otherwise. I'm chronically disorganized, so there are no lists for me to share, although, i can take and text as many cell phone pics as you would like. I've got several parts boxes, and 20 years worth of kits. And, looking at the parts layout, notice that the bike is now all on one sprue by itself? IIRC, in the original kit, parts for the cycle, are scattered, Higgledy-Piggledy over the car sprues.

I bought one of those Original Imperials about 12 years ago just for the Motorcycle, Dale. I'm glad to have it. It's a nice kit. Now I can build one.
