  1. It has been awhile, but I can also drive the 3 pedal Planetary Transmission in a Model T Ford. Tricky at first, but after a little bit, it becomes second nature. A 1926 T was my daily driver from 1989-1990.
  2. I liked them back in the day, but, they have not aged very well. At least Round2 put in better tires this time.
  3. Everybody has been sick with Covid. Been eating whatever we can find, as nobody wants to cook. At least we did the Big Grocery Shopping the day before we got sick, so the pantry is full. Had take-out pizza tonight, to try to tempt the 5 year old to eat. (He did eat one slice)
  4. Boy, isn't that the Truth!
  5. There used to be an aftermarket company out of Spain, that did a Round Headlight conversion, But I don't know if they are still out there. I found them by searching thru the links at the Rocketfin Car Links website. https://www.rocketfin.com/model_car_links.html You might look there.
  6. Always Nice to see another Landy! You did a great job on yours! Good Show.
  7. Wow! Wish Round2 would bring that back! Great little build! Good Show.
  8. That makes business sense. The Already have a great stock body. The '70 Mustang is a popular kit, and restoring enough parts to get a stock version, would be a good use of tooling dollars (IMHO). Once restored, the kit is a sure fire seller, (All Mustangs are) and can released every few years to make back the costs.
  9. That Monogram/Revell/Aurora Maserati 3500 is a Great looking car. I need to track one down. I built one many years ago when I bought it new from K-Mart in the 1980's. It was fiddly, but fun.
  10. Never Heard of a Cheater Bar.......?
  11. Any more recent news from Revell? Things seem to have gotten quiet lately.
  12. So, Far, I have to say that I have been more than happy with most of the Round2 kits this year. I am getting about 50% of the kits that are coming out. The Funny Cars don't do much for me, but I am really liking the many pickups and older cars. I see the '69 Falcon Mod Stocker is in the pipeline. That is good. My Favorite Subjects have not been done yet, but I have hope that all of them are at least on the Radar, so I just wait to see what happens next. My own list of favorites are not that obscure. All the other '32 Fords. (Esp. the Roadster and Phaeton) The Gen 2 '72-81' Camaros. ( I know, one is in Test Shot Status right now.) The AMT AMC Matadors & Javelins. And I'd Like to see the MPC Stutz Beacat and AMT Thomas Flyer, return. Maybe as a Twin Pack
  13. But, did Aston Martin use a Jaguar Engine? I don't see how this is a solution.

  15. I love Shay Locos. My Favorite of all Steam Power. Beautiful Job, Jeff.
  16. Wow! That is a truly creative Build! Great Use of an Older kit. Good Show.
  17. Awesome! Why the Green headlights?
  18. Excellent Build! The Green Colour is perfect. Good Show.
  19. So, Wife and I take our Covid Tests. We both test Positive. We both feel like we've been rode hard and put away wet, to use the phrase. We managed to make it from 2019-2024 without ever getting sick, and now this... I am beyond angry. Called the Boss. I am to remain at home until I test Negative. My Adult Daughter will take my Wife to the E.R. tomorrow for Meds, and to get a stack of Covid Tests. I'll call the VA and see what they advise.I may not go to work at all this week. Ugh. This is Not Good. Thanks for letting me Vent!
  20. I will need glasses for distance vision. Thanks for the encouragement.
  21. I got Cataract Surgery on Wednesday. It has been postponed at least three times since Jan 2023. Between high A1C, needing to lose weight and troubles with paperwork and the VA, I though it would never get done. But, It has. I'm not seeing (ha) any real improvement in my vision yet, but I am assured that it will take time to stabilize. But, I am grateful to have gotten it done., as my eyesight was getting worse every day, even with glasses. Now to wait and see how it shapes up, in the next few days.
  22. My 70 year old Work-a-holic Boss is a Micro-Manager. Every Decision about even the smallest things, must go through him. He is not a bad guy really, but very old school. He introduced me to his longest serving employee, with the Semi Humorous Quip, "This is Fred. I've Fired him three times". Now that I've been there 2 months, the humor is gone. And, I am beginning to question how smart Fred really is....... Anyhow, I tell you that, so you can understand this. When the Boss is not in the office, no real decisions can be made. So if he is gone, no NEW work can get done. Of Course, already planned work goes on. Because of this, he seldom takes time off, and does not call in sick. So, All last week, and the Monday and Tuesday of this week, he has been in the office, coughing his fool head off. Hacking, dry cough, that hits him so hard, he had to stop phone conversations to wait until the coughing stopped. Wednesday, I left for Cataract Surgery. It has been planned for 18 months. The surgery it self went well, seemingly, but by Wednesday night, I HAD a cough. Fever, and runny nose too. I've been fighting it since then, and I'm still not well. Today, my wife is sick too. This afternoon, I get a text from a co-worker. He tells me the Boss and his wife have been diagnosed with COVID. Oh Great! My wife and I get tested for COVID tomorrow. Not sure If I am going back to work Monday, or not. P.S. The Cataract Surgery seems to have worked but my vision now, is worse than ever, and now my glasses do not work..... I am told this is normal, and things will get better in a few weeks, but I'm discouraged right now.
  23. Your explanation fits the facts as we know them, Robert. I'll take your word for it.
  24. There is no Sound Business case to support the Revell effort. None, as shown by the fact that the kits have disappeared, and will probably never see the light of day again. Not sure what went wrong, but all that time & tooling budget utterly wasted, for no reason. Worst of all the the kit was clearly copied from and inferior to the Lindberg tooling. I'd really like to know who 'died on that hill' in the Revell business office to push that whole package to completion.
  25. Sharp Looking Car, but I have too many projects already.
