  1. We leave out lots of Peanuts, for him.
  2. Miniature Displacement Engines, many with Turbos, running at high RPMS in a High Temp environment being asked to do the work a much larger and less stressed engine used to do, are blowing up/failing. Who Could have guessed that this would happen? Not the Brain Trusts at the Big Two, that;s for sure. I'm sure that the engineers who really designed these motors (to impossible Corporate Specifications), are doing the best they can. But, Penny Pinching and Short Term Thinking are destroying the Automobile Companies. And as collateral damage they are taking everything else with them. Boeing comes to mind. The entire country is suffering a crisis of Competence, in both Manufacturing and Building. It is easy for anybody who works with their hands to see, but somewhat harder for the rest of the public who never use a wrench or screwdriver to see. I won't say we are doomed. We are not. But, we as a society will see continuing failures of both large and small technologies, until we go back to valuing the older, sturdier values. Technology is a servant, not a master.
  3. Our Resident California Scrub Jay, has a Beak like this one. He's been in our yard for over 5 years now. We call him "Mr. Beak". He is mated, and we used to see Mrs. Beak, but I have not seen her in a while.
  4. After 15 Months living with the Rottie, My wife and I have decided that a Rottweiler is not a Pet, it is a Lifestyle! Everything has to change when you own one. We have had dogs now for 30 years, but there is nothing like a Rottie . Don't get me wrong, we love her (perhaps more than any other dogs we have owned), but she is a completely different kind of pet. More Demanding, More Energetic, and More Loving, than any dog we have every known. So far, she is a great dog.
  5. Matt, you are a True Artiste! That is "Grade A" modeling right there. Good Show.
  6. You've done a Fabulous Job, on this build!
  7. Great Mack Truck build! The Blue is nice.
  8. I have 2 pets now. 36 year old Male, Turquoise Front Amazon Parrot named Onslow. 17 month old Female, Rottweiler named Yarbo. No Pics.
  9. Could the radiator from the ICM Model T Ford kits work on the Tognotti T? Or, are they too big? Looks like the Tognotti chassis/fenders and radiator were used in the equally rare MPC Paddy wagon, so it will be a hunt for that too. The MPC Switchers Model T kits, have a Chopped 1908-1915 Square T Rad Shell, as do the "Chuck Miller Fire Engine" & the Outcast Showrods. That is all the Square style Model T Radiators in kit form I can think of on short notice. I may have a Switcher's Shell if you want one.
  10. Darn! I was looking to buy some wheels from HRM. I should have bought them when I first found them. HRM part# 407 Ten Hole Ferrari Road Wheels and Tires. I'll put a note in the wanted section, but I don't expect much luck. I'll have to see if anybody is 3D printing them.
  11. I knew about the plane, but never knew there was a Kit. Great Find, Adam!!
  12. I have a variety of Nippers. Some Chinese, some Taiwan, and a Xuron, that I can never seem to find when I'm working..... I also use a pair of Harbor Freight Dykes for heavy sprue cutting to save the wear on the nippers. And a pair of straight cut, Toenail Clippers for flush cuts.
  13. Well, Model King is handling everything with the AWB car. I'm not sure when or if Moebuis will be bringing out the AWB for themselves. Model King might be working on other License Agreements that we know nothing about. I'm perfectly willing to see what the After Market, Model King & Moebuis do in the next few months before worrying too much about what is next.
  14. Your Underhood work looks great.
  15. I think the AMT kit now has Four of the correct wheel covers now, at least. NIce start to the Build, John. I'll keep checking in.
  16. Ah, Thank You! I've just dug my Monogram '32 Roadster out of the stash. I'm looking at all the parts I've collected in the box, to see how I want to build it.
  17. It looks very sharp, so far! I like green cars, so this one is right in my wheelhouse.
  18. I wonder if Atlantis has the tooling for that one? Would be a nice addition to the Nova and Firebird in 1/32.
  19. Do It! Do it! Do It!
  20. Is HRM still around? Website Appears to be gone.
  21. Wonderful Photos. The really enhance the build.
  22. I always liked the long gone Pactra "Hot Rod Primer" for painting tires. Never to be seen again, but it was a great colour.
