  1. O.T. Man, I like the Looks of that Pencil! Is it as Good as it looks?
  2. Outstanding, Clean, Sharp Builds!
  3. This is Just Awesome! That looks like the highway work trucks I remember back in the day. And, yes, when Brand New that is how they would have looked. (for about a week)
  4. Not sure Where to look for those decals. It is going to be aftermarket, but I'm not up on who might have done, or still be doing them.
  5. I'm with You on this one! This might actually make financial sense to tool up. You could sell it as a Race Car, Police, and regular street car.
  6. I'm so sorry. The Tree is a better neighbor than the Rodents....
  7. That fits all the Hobbies Shops I've seen in California these last few Years. Except Pegasus Hobbies in SoCal. But, they have Everything, and in Huge Numbers.
  8. Try This thread, and Vintage Racing Miniatures. Here is the Link to VRM. Last Update was 2021. They may be Defunct. Worth a try though. https://www.v-r-m.com/ https://www.v-r-m.com/vrm-003---mustang-gt350r.html
  9. Nice Squirrel! My Wife Loves Squirrels. Sadly, our house now, has none. She names all Squirrels, "Blinky" No, I have no idea why.......
  10. "Are Hallucinations Popping the A.I. Bubble?" Not on your life. It will never happen. Too Many Young Techies have too much of their Ego invested in A.I. Uber Alles. Too Many Investors (Corporate & Vulture) have too much Money, Ego, & Reputation invested in A.I. Too Many People who are convinced that they are the Arbiters of the Future have too much of their Ego & Reputation invested in A.I. This Bubble will have to Catastrophically Destroy Billions of Borrowed Dollars, and Several Reputations and Huge Numbers of Fragile Egos, before it goes away. And when It finally does, the Backlash against A.I. and Tech in general will be epic. Enough to wipe away the bad, but much of the good, as well. See: "Baby/Bathwater" Silicon Valley, and It's many Disciples aren't nearly as smart as they think. They do not have nearly as much control over events as they think. And they have little knowledge of the world outside Universities, Cities, and Think Tanks. The last 10 years has proven that handing the keys to the world to these folks, has provided some great video games, some horrible side effects, and lots of Social Dysfunction. Sometimes the old ways are wrong, or backwards. But, Changing them just for the sake of Change, is not working the way it was promised to us. Remember "Chesterton's Gate"
  11. Nice Build, Tom. The paint is Masterful.
  12. The Space Ships were always the Best Part of the show. (well, except for Maya)
  13. Very Sharp Morgan. For as rare as the kit is, this is the first time, I've seen one built. Good Show.
  14. Missed the bus this afternoon by 10 minutes. The bus runs every 1.5 Hours. Instead of waiting over an hour, for the next one I walked home. 3/4 of a mile. Made it, but my Dogs are Barking... Course it has cooled off, so it was only 93 Deg on my Walk. Not like the 114 we had two weeks ago.
  15. I really, really like what you have done with this! Great Work.
  16. No Pics, Just X'es.
  17. Very Nice Z-car. I always wanted one, but never made it happen. They sell for Un-Real prices now, if you can find them.
  18. Yeah, I like the Comet Wagon, too. But 22K is a bit rich for car that looks like it needs help to get back on the road.
  19. That far North, aren't they "Iron Moths"?
  20. Just thinking out loud. For Most of us, this is a hobby. But for a very few people, it is a Business. Just off the top of my head, I can think of a few Model Companies here in the US. Revell Round2 Salvinos JR Atlantis Williams Bros (?) Glencoe (?) How many people are employed by all these companies? My guess is that everybody employed by Model Companies would fit in just a few Greyhound Busses. (150-300) Even If you count Tamiya, and MRC, it is still a small number, I suspect. What say you guys?
  21. Awesome Work! Can't wait to see how it comes along.
  22. Ohhh, Now You've Done it! "Toy Cars" Indeed!!! (sarc) Yes, they are toy cars. Invented about 65 years ago, as something to give to kids to keep them occupied while Dad shops for a new car. Then, the whole business grew, and here we are, still playing with Toy Cars. Remember AMT stands for Aluminum Model Toys, after all. Not that, there's anything wrong with that. Now Guys like Wingrove, and some of the Builders here? Way beyond. They are "Miniature Craftsman" and occupy a whole different level of the hobby. But, in the end, it is a hobby. For a couple hundred folks in the USA it might be a job. For the rest of us? A Pastime. An Interest. For a few, a whole world. But, not much more. Folks who get shirty about the Hobby, i.e. "I'm NOT playing with Toys!!", are defensive about the wrong things.
