You can even take a solid round rod, attach a tiny disc of sanding film to the end, and carefully twist the pattern on yourself....easy peasy!

There is also a detail company that makes sheets of it in different scales!...I believe HiroBoy carries them...This is looking AMAZING, bud!!!!

Hey, everyone!, just wanted to share my SB automotive dolly. It was inspired by one of my top three favorite builders -JC, and was designed with the Pagani style. All that's left to do is to final sand, and paint. it is totally adjustable, but doesn't really roll...lol -thanks for checking it out!

Hey, everybody!, I've been pretty busy with life these past few days, and forgot to post the rest of what I was working on a few days ago. I tried to find internal photos of these two parts, to find out exactly what they are, but to no avail. I'm almost 100% positive that they are air boxes to cool the front brakes. In the end, I guess it doesn't really matter, since it will be almost totally in shadow, so if I just paint it as I see it, it will look like its suppose to no matter what they really are. -Photo 1; I started off by making a bracket that went all the way across the front end. I needed to have them attached, because I had a previous attempt at making them individually......MASSIVE balls-up!! This way I could be assured that they were totally aligned the same. -Photo 2&3; These photos show how I glued the square styrene stock to the bracket. The back side is flush with the back edge of the bracket. -Photo 4&5; In these photos, I am gluing a front, and back side to the boxes...then adding round tubing to simulate the real thing. -Photo 6&7; Here the whole assembly is cleaned up, and the tubes are sanded down to the proper height. -Photo 8&9; Somehow I am missing the photo of the whole assembly being put in place first on top of the headlamp buckets. While it sat in this position, I used styrene "L" stock to make the top two brackets, followed by the bottom ones....they worked a treat!! -Photo 10; After adding inner, vertical uprights for supports, I cut the center portion away to let the boxes be fitted individually. -Photo 11; I tacked them in for an individual test-fit, and they worked great still! -Photo 12; They totally have the right look, and I can actually get away with snipping-off those two inner vertical uprights. Next I will be final sanding/assembling the body for the painting process, while adding two rear cooling fans, oil cooler, and the two main radiators.

This is a happy-sad story, but still an interesting one!!….I've always loved that yellow Ferrari on the box...as well as wondered why it was a customized one just for advertising a display case. The Ferrari looks GREAT!!, thanks for sharing its story!!

Where does one start??...EVERYTHING about this is just WOW!!!! Obviously the paintjob is a masterpiece in its own right, but the wheels/tyres you chose -PERFECT!...the exhaust relocation -BRILLIANT!...the roof details -Outstanding!......right down to the little touches like the eyelids on the headlamps!!!!
