You can spray enamels over lacquer, but you cant spray lacquer over enamels........it will "craze"

Very cool feeling! Even though I can see all of mine all the time, I still occasionally pull some out and look them over. Sounds crazy, but almost feels like I just bought them, and makes me happy.

I agree. I refuse to detail EVERY v8, v12.......and so on. I like to have ONE very detailed example of each engine/undercarriage that I like. the hood gets glued down on the rest, usually.

Thanks, guys! Jeff, I've only seen the Jalpa in 1;43 as a kit, but it would be pretty easy to change the Sihlouette into one. Glad you liked mine. some time this year I will be building a 1;24 scale Urraco also.

looks like an Aoshima to me.

I agree with the others, but I also know that "real" automotive parts can have seams and a rough, unrefined look to them. IMO, if you remove every seam, and clean up all the parts too much, you lose a depth of realism. I, like others have been around cars my whole life, and if I don't know how "finished" a part is suppose to look, I find it in pictures, internet, or auto parts store.
