  1. Hey everyone, just thought I'd give you a friendly reminder. I just received a call from my bank, and spent an hour on the phone with them, clearing up the fact that there was no way that a credit card I hadn't used in 3 months could have been used 5 times in an hour in locations that were 50 miles from where I was! So please watch your accounts very closely!
  2. Yeah, the "shiny rust" with the other parts that look brand new look weird, but it could be a lot worse guys! There was a show where Jay Leno drove a '48 Buick Super convertible that was a barn find, hadn't been registered since 1958, put the newest and best electronics in the interior, and a 700 hp LS9 Supercharged engine from a Corvette ZR1 in it, and left the rest of the car as found!! But I guess that's what happens when you have more money than you know what to do with!
  3. Welcome back Tom! Have you tried Prop-Shop Hobbies? It's about 1/2 way between Great Lakes and Whistle Stop, all 3 can be visited within a few hours!
  4. Harry, if you are interested in tracks, scenery, etc. for your trams or other railroad related subjects "G" scale electric train stuff measures out to 1/24, and is made by several manufacturers.
  5. That is excellent news Joe!
  6. I wouldn't say weird Harry, I have been a member at Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village for over 20 years, I get to see 1:1 stuff like that whenever I want, I love it!
  7. Very sharp car Ray!
  8. Yet another very cool and unusual subject from you Harry!
  9. Very nice! Lincoln should have went back to the old "you can have any color you want, as long as it's black" on those cars!!
  10. That is a cool looking car, other than the box art is no different on the PC scale than models of any other Nazi era subjects (Bismarck, Hindenburg, etc.)!
  11. Very well done!
  12. Looks to me like some people have WAY too much time on their hands!!
  13. Very nice Ray, always cool to see a "shoe box" Ford!
  14. Almost anything from the late pre-war years would be a welcome addition! They have been few and far between.
  15. That is great work Art! Looking really good.
  16. Very nicely done! I wish my "good enough" paint jobs looked like that!
  17. Like several others have already said, you don't really know how much you got beat by, you only see what the next bid increment it took to beat you was!
  18. Very cool! Almost never see a stock Willys, let alone a wagon!
  19. Very well done Thomas! And, yes, guys, that kit is 1/16. I have the same one from when Entex issued it, it also has been issued under the Academy/Minicraft name.
  20. That is very cool!
  21. Nicely done, that's a nice set, don't see any of those too often!
  22. Nicely done, those are very cool!
  23. There is some stuff they sell at coin shops, can't remember the name off-hand, that is specially made to polish scratches out of hard plastic proof set cases.
