    62 Bel Air

Very nice and clean, just the way I like to see them! Great work!
  4. Neat idea and a great looking Ford! Very accurate looking F-code 312 engine!
  5. Looking forward to seeing this finished, it's looking great! Keep us posted on the progress!
  6. Very nice build ! Great paint, foiling and detail ! Can't wait to see more of your work.
  7. These four are about equal for me and define what I like.
  8. Beautiful Chevelle! Red is the perfect color for any '66-67 SS. The Cragers are a nice touch also! Well done!
  9. Very nice and clean! I like your choice of color and the other mods you made to it!
  10. Very nice looking Edsel. Looks factory correct with the red oxide primer on the chassis and correct Edsel engine colors. Even though the body was pre-painted, it looks like you put alot of heart in this build! Great job!
  11. Very nice '55! Still trying to find this kit, looks like the best ever replica of a '55 hardtop to date! Great work!

    68 Elky!

    Beautiful Elky Jeryd!
  13. Top notch building as usual, Bill ! Thanks for your pics and in depth explanations, you really help alot of us novices! I like the elimination of the interior tub, they are so hard to get a decent level of detail out of. What you are doing here can be applied to lots of other kits as well. Keep at it and keep us posted!
  14. Olle, I found a '66 Olds manual on "The Old Car Project " on the internet, sight has lots of manuals for reference, it showed the canister as part of heater, stores vacuum for the damper motors.
  15. That cylinder may be a vacuum servo for an aftermarket cruise control, or a vacuum storage canister. Can you find a '65 Chevrolet service manual anywhere? I also notice that the car in your reference photo has a/c, did GM use vacuum to open and close dampers in the a/c system in '65? Makes me think it's a vacuum storage tank.
  16. This one has been 20yrs in the making. I bought it in '87, painted it, lost interest and put it back in the box. Years later, Revell comes out with their '69 Charger, this one is as good as dead! Got it back out about 5yrs ago, stripped the paint, repainted and foiled the body, painted the interior, lost interest again and put it away. Got it back out after I finished my Revell '69 R/T and finished it. Built pretty much box stock, added rear view mirrors and back-up lamps. I don't think it looks half bad now that it's done. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!
  17. Great work, love the blue and white!
  18. A very tastefully done custom! The flathead looks great, interior is beautiful, and the side trim puts this build over the top! Great job!
  19. Looks like a very nice casting! Do you have any pics of the chassis and chrome pieces?
  20. You do great work, this is going to be and awesome build! Your right about the black under the hood, it looks like you have just the right sheen. Who would of thought black could be so tough to do?
  21. Bill, the grill and trunk trim look great! You know after all your hard work and you have this finished, Lindberg or Revell will probably announce their going to release a '55 Ford Fairlane kit. LOL ! But then again it would never have this level of detail!
  22. Great paint job, Uwe! I hope someday I can turn something out as awesome as your builds! Keep them coming, they really inspire me!
  23. That's a Beautiful Plymouth, Uwe! Your engine bay details are second to none! I like the optional fender mounted turn indicators you saw fit to add to your build, it's small stuff like that that takes your builds over the top! Outstanding job as always!
  24. Oh, your good Harry, But I'm going with model ( a large scale at that ) ! Looks very real though !
  25. That is really cool! Alot of thought and work went in to " scaling up " an Amt '40 Ford! Foiling that trim on that Ford would be a breeze in 1:1 scale !
