  1. Very nice restoration Ed!
  2. Wow, I wondered what happened to this one after it dropped off the radar screen! Glad to see you got it finished, it looks great!
  3. Got the Charger painted, I used Duplicolor Buckskin metallic, tried to simulate Mopar paint code JJ1 gold poly.
  4. Very nice build all the way around! I like the decals, do they come in white also?
  5. You have done a great job with these simple kits! I'll bet no kid back in the 60's had ever made them look this good!
  6. Mine would be this one, because if I could only have only one 1:1 car, it would be this!
  7. I think the Plymouth is cool! Keep 'em coming, they bring back memories from when I was a kid!
  8. All I can say is WOW! That is one beautiful build James! I had a friend that had a '73 SE, vinyl roof with those louvered rear quarter windows, I like this style better, still has the look of the '68-'70 Chargers.
  9. Thanks for the comment Bill! There was no uptop in this kit, I wish there was, these '62's looked just as sharp with the top up or down. Does anyone know if the Lindberg '61 Impala convertible has an uptop? it would probably fit like a glove.
  10. Thanks for the response Marcos! I'm going to find some of that stuff and play around with it.
  11. Marcos, I'm doing the same kit right now, added a vinyl top like you did. How does the spray mount adhesive dry? Is it tacky or anything? What paint can you safely paint it with? Looking forward to the progress on yours, I'm sure it will be amazing!
  12. After building GM subjects all year I felt it was time to do another Mopar. This will be my first attempt at adding a vinyl top, I never much cared for having a fabric that traps moisture on my roof, but the '68-'70 Chargers looked oh so right when equipped with the vinyl. Besides, this one will be the test "mule" for when I replicate the '68 I drove in high school later on. I added Evergreen strips for the sail panel trim and for the "seams" on the vinyl. I'm still deciding on what color to paint it, I have a little time as it's just to humid here right now to paint anything. Thanks for looking, questions, comments and ideas are always welcome!
  13. Great work Slim! Belongs in "Real or Model"!
  14. Thanks for the compliments everyone! Yes Olle, the trim was a bear to get right! It's not engraved real well so I lined up straight edge of the foil with the top of the side trim and just cut the bottom edge. It was pretty tough to cut around those door handles also, I don't know how many times I peeled it off and started over! At least it was a convertible so there was no side and rear window trim to worry about!
  15. Flawless paint, very , very nice build!
  16. Here's my finished '62, built box stock. Thanks for looking.
  17. Thanks for the comments guys! Here's a couple more progress pics. Thanks for looking.
  18. I'm building this as a follow up to my 61 Impala, painted with Model Master Nassau Blue Metallic, cleared with Duplicolor. Interior painted with Duplicolor. Just going to build this one box stock. Thanks for looking and comments always welcome!

  20. That's a beautiful Starliner! Tell us more about it !
  21. Here's some chassis and engine pics for you Olle.
  22. Just finished up my Lindberg '61 Impala, painted Model Master black lacquer, went with a beige interior instead of the usual red and white. This kit went together with no problems, first Lindberg kit I've ever assembled. As always thanks for looking and questions or comments welcome!
  23. Great job turning that glue bomb engine into something special! Like your '70, I can't wait to see this one done!
  24. Excellent work splicing this one back together! You do great work on these restorations. I like the rarely seen vinyl top also. I can't wait to see this one done. You don't see enough of these 2nd generation Camaros in 1/25th!
  25. Spectacular build Dave! Beautiful paint, beautiful everything! And yes, Photobucket works here.
