  1. Yes,they were Bill. And I know I'll probably have re-do the rear trim, seems like when you install the chassis part of it gets torn off!
  2. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished, Uwe! Your details and paint just blow my mind! I love the chassis detail. This is going to be good!
  3. Spent about 5 hours foiling, I feel like I'm over the major hurdle now, glad there's not 10 hours worth of chrome on this car. Took pictures with natural lighting to better show the true color. Thanks for looking.
  4. I've started on my second '69 Charger, I was having a hard time making a decision on what color to paint it , I was thinking maybe a green, gold or copper, so I let my wife pick the color, she liked B-5 blue, so here's the completed interior, engine. Now it's on to foiling the body, the part of the build I hate the most, but I won't do one without ! Thanks for looking and any comments or ideas are always welcome.
  5. I've seen a number of these built and no two have been the same! That's what is so cool about this kit. Great job!
  6. Flawless build!
  7. Flawless build!
  8. I wished they would have scrapped this one and did an all new tool in 1:25, or at least base this on the '71 Cuda, and not the longer wheelbase Challenger! I'm not buying this !
  9. Very nice restoration of a great cat !
  10. That looks like it's going to be killer ! I like the darker colors on these. All these new merc kits and no two have looked the same. Can't wait to see yours finished !
  11. Looks like it's going to be a great build ! I know what you mean, I build nothing but factory stock, but I had to run out and get one of these ! And with all the options, one will not be enough!
  12. Very nice job Pat! You turned that crappy kit into something special, Looks like a million bucks!
  13. Very nice build, nice details! This is what a Blazer should be instead of the luxury SUV they are now !
  14. Thanks, Bill. It's always great to have your "seal of approval"! My Chargers demise came with a hard lesson. Back in October of '81, I had left a party drunk, went and bought a 6-pack and drove around, passed out and pushed the trunk of a parked Ford Falcon into it's back seat. Luckily, no one was hurt, but I sure cleaned up my act after that mess. What was left of the Charger sat in my parents garage for about 6 years, But being married by then and with money so tight, I had to let it go. I would still have that car if I wasn't so stupid in my youth!
  15. Here's my '69 Charger I built about 3yrs ago pretty much out of the box other than the BMF. I had a '68 back in high school in these same colors, other than the interior, mine was blue. Can't wait for Revell to issue the '68 again so I can replicate my long lost '68. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.
  16. Beautiful work! Most awesome Chevelle I have ever seen ! That paint job is flawless, I hope I can get results like that someday. What kind of paint did you use on the interior, has just the right sheen for black vinyl.
  17. Thats beautiful Marcos! I love that color. Outstanding build!
  18. These Mercurys are popping up all over ! I like the color and quality of your paint job ! Looks like it's going to be a great build, I'll be watching this one !
  19. Beautiful Ford Dave ! That's what is so nice about these newer Revell kits, you can build right out of the box without having to modify anything and they look like a million bucks! Just add a great paint job and neat paint details and foiling like you've done !
  20. Great job , Peter! It's a dead ringer right down to the wheels ! Beautiful work, you should be proud !
  21. That truck reminds me of my high school days! When I was 16 I worked at a grocery store, and there was and old lady that drove one in worse shape than that ! when she came to the store, we would bribe some of the other carry out guys because none of us wanted to take her grocerys out because she smelled so bad! She kept an old cinder block in the bed, you had to take it out and set it on the ground so she could step on it and you had to push her into the cab! I think I paid one of the guys as much as 10$ so I wouldn't have to do it !
  22. Dave, that's a great looking build that still holds up today! It looks as fresh as today! How does it stack up against the newer tool Amt '66 Fairlane?
  23. Here's some pics of my '58 Bevedere, some of you probably seen it before, some of you are probably sick of seeing it again ! I painted it with Duplicolor silver, I don't even know if they were available in silver, but I wanted something different from the red and white "Chritine"! I sanded the door panels and changed the trim to the correct '58 Belvedere pattern as well as changing the seats as AMT made this kit with a '57 interior ! I also corrected the incorrect engine by making it into the dual quad "golden commando 350". Thanks for looking!
  24. Very nice !
  25. Harry, your skills and your Pocher are amazing to say the least ! Beautiful !
